Getting these Guinea Pigs out of a horrifying situation was a lot of hard work and a lot of heartbreak. I didn't have boots on the ground, but Scotty's Animals did and was able to transport 20 pregnant females from this hoarded, neglected, and abused group.

Do you know where to find a young eight weeks to two year old female female spade guinea pig I have a lonely male and I’m trying to convince my mom to let me get another guinea pig but she said to find a spade of female and it’s hard to find one please let me know if you either come across one or nowhere to find she doesn’t wanna get her mail because they fight and doesn’t wanna get an unspayed female because then it will have babies and my mom doesn’t want that

Wow, this is So sad. Thank You for the 20 pregnant ones you were able to rescue. I know adoptions have been down and this only makes things worse, but I also know somehow you'll manage with the help of fans too. Everything helps. These pigs now have a shot at a good life💯🐹🐹

Just had 500 Guinea pigs in Colorado rescued from a breeder last week. They were in small cages, not enough food, water or forage. So many had medical issues and so many are pregnant.

Thank you so much saskia for rescuing the guinea pigs from the bad situation and I just don't understand why and how someone could do something so horrible to any animal that just really upsets me those animals did not deserve to be treated that way and I am so sorry that happened to the guinea pigs they did not deserve to be treated badly

I hear then crying and want to hold them! 😢 Of I lived closer, I could only take a couple. But I would gladly. And take some pregnant mama's and help my shelter rehome them. I would also take that screamer. She's going to need extra slow care to trust again.

All the abuse that these piggies have gone through is so heartbreaking. As Saskia was talking about how thin they are, it made me sick to think of these piggies being so hungry and not being fed properly. We all know how food is such a big part of a piggy's life. I really hope that these hoarders are punished to the fullest extent the law allows.

Just to be clear the unfolding situation in Colorado is a separate situation from the situation in Vegas. It just goes to show that every day there is a new situation where literally hundreds of animals are put in horrible situations through no fault of their own and it doesn't seem like it's going to stop anytime soon

THis has a sad beginning, but a happy ending! I adore baby g.pigs! You can't tell how small they are until they are next to their mom and then they are the size of a hamster. Saskia and Scotty, you are awesome!🐹

I was gripped by this video from beginning to end without pausing. The huge scale of what happened here is unimaginable. I've also seen Scotty's video. I have literally facilitated many thousands of adoptions over the years and I always hope for the best. I'm heartbroken that my trust was betrayed and that so many animals were put in dangerous horrible situations and suffered needlessly

I have two female guinea pigs and seeing this video I have learnt so much. Mine are cleaned out every day, and I inspect them every day, thank God they are perfect. This video. Has been so heartwarming to think they will be tKen care of and I hope they find homes for them. They are beautiful pets. 😊

This is even worse than I thought! When Las Vegas news said they found 51 piggies in a car with 11 deceased, I thought the 20 you got and the 20 boys Scott's friend took were the ones from the car. Now I find out that these 40 got out before all the police activity? Oh those poor babies! I wish I could take a pair or group, but I can't. I hope they throw the book at those people. How do you go from a pair of healthy piggies in a clean, proper cage to over 100 trying to hide ten and all your other animals in a car? Carrying around dead ones mixed in with your live ones? Thank you Saskia for taking the 20 when we know you have no room.

I am so grateful that the guinea pigs are safe at your rescue Saskia, but it gets me so angry when I see neglect at such a high level. It breaks my heart that most people see guinea pigs as "Misfits", and do such neglectful things to them. It is people like you and Scotty who gives these little defensless creatures such love and comfort that I know they will be alright. Keep up the good work and please know that I am on the side of all creatures. Especially guinea pigs. Carol from Illinois.

Glad the Animals are safe and cared for now. It's not your Fault. It's horrible all around. Thus Woman has to be very, very sick to loose control like that. It Sound like an rapid gradual decline in mental Health on her Side. Hope she gets help. She really needs it. On top of not beeing allowed Ownership anymore. Tragic when it affects the helpless and vulnerable.
