The fact that Rentarou hits her right in the feels when he rightfully is considerate about not pushing Shizuka to talk just make the romance more impactful. if it was a different guy, they'd try to push her to talk as a way for her to improve herself. Even I would when I encounter someone like her but Rentarou is just that considerate. He somehow kind of has the power to say the best words apparently.
The animation alone tells you they aren't sparing no expense. xD But you're probably right about having voice actors playing multiple girlfriends! The comedy was toned down, but still hilarious lol
Yees, i was waiting for this. I loved this episode and we can see current art style Shizuka, part of me wishes we could see her early form which looked kinda derpy. On another note after seeing some reacts of episode 3 everyone wanted to protect her, and the ones that were doubtful of the "loli" character ended up loving her. A lot of people (myself included) were left waiting for more of knight Kamakuru and princess Io. Later in the episode they didn't want to see Shizuka hurt after she found Rentarou with Karane and Hakari, and as always, they hated the mother.
