It finally paid off that I've been collecting and limit-breaking every unique ship I ever got. Being an indecisive harem-builder can apparently have advantages from time to time.
i have been locking every new ship i have gathered since i started. even if i never use them i just keep them in my collection. heck even bulins i have 2 locked ship of each that i send occasionally on commsions.
yup im still far from getting most of my shipgirls to 120 but i do keep one each only problem is when your aiming for f2p (not counting a few skins that i had to have ^_^ ) dock space is the biggest problem for me atm
yup and that is after you spend a month or more of grinding 1.2 mil exp first and then 3.4 mil exp for the the two shyly 2nd gen ships its not like 1mil and 3mil where easy for first gen ships ...
H-Type research is extremely useful once you've got all your fleets ready and a big chunk of PRY ships is unlocked: 1) This research gives the highest amount of PRY blueprints for the time it takes to finish, and it's really hard to grind them by other means. 2) It gives Retrofit blueprints, and most retrofited ships are only second to PRY ships in terms of power, some even outclass them. 3) A cherry on top - cognitive chips, you can never have enough of those once you start leveling up your fleet collection above level 100. 4) It doesn't require gold and gear parts (both are needed to upgrade gear, gold is also used for limit breaking and tactical awakening), while cubes are useless once you've got enough top tier ships, and you get 3 every day, + 9 extra per week if built 3 more ships in light construction and completed other weekly missions + 30 per month for login in every day, and it doesn't count commissions. 5) Once you've established your fleets and tech points (in about a year), event gachas can be overlooked. It's rare for event ships to tear apart the meta, PRY ships and retrofits take priority overall. In short, you don't need Tashkent and Bremerton if you have Ayanami Retrofit and Roon. XD
Great video as always 3c. Love the Fleet / Faction Tech system... I felt I was wasting time collecting and levelling ships... Now with this system I feel like I did not waste resources / time doing that.
6:18 "So buy more dock space for more power!" It seems you only need to MLB them, not keep them, because i have multiple ships that has been retired, but they still give buffs.
Thanks for the video. Some great stuff explained! Though I have a question. If we MLB a ship and then retire them after, will the tech stat bonus disappear? Or is it permanent, regardless if the ship is retired or not?

Such a lifesaver, thank you for the video! I was wondering, can the PR ship exp grind be worked towards even if you’re not at that phase yet? (Or does only count the current active PR mission?)
@Orthus100 I knew its only the current PR ship you're working on, I was referring to if the target missions need to be done in order, which it seems like they need to be. Update: Once you choose a PR ship theres a cooldown on target missions (later ones need more time), once they reach zero you may then work towards them regardless of whether the previous target mission is complete or not.
I was hyped to hear this was coming up but so lost when it finally showed up. Glad your here to explain. Also, I heard it isn't wise to do them at the same time, but is progressing each one bit by bit that bad as opposed to focusing on one for however long?
The shipyard essentially replaced the collection screen for me now. :) Also the completionist in me are going :kisaaa: over the unresolved 120 Requirements. XD
@Just3c What is your take on those gold O research missions ? As some of them have a high coin cost, i`m not sure if or which are worth the money. The rewards are great, specific PR, random PR and a few random gold designs.
I spent all my gold coins on building because I didn't meet PR requirements. Got so lucky when I yolo'ed for the last ship with literally 50 gold left. Have to grind super hard for research. Not enough 💰, too much oil
Q projects only produce eQuipment blueprints, no ship blueprints. However, Q projects consume parts, so if you are out of money, Q projects is also a good choice and the time needed is shorter than C projects.
630 for FDG? What does that mean? You have to keep 630 and dont use them for upgrade so you can have her, or its the sum of all points you have collected so far?
I have a question, when It says F.D.G's EXP requirement increases from Ironblood Backline, does Zeppy count towards it as well? Reason why I ask this is because in the research system, Zeppy doesn't seem to count for Faction points or get the bonus stats
FDG is BB, so only BBs, BBVs and BCs exp gains should be counting towards her exp farm. Wich means Zeppy shouldn't count, logically. Edit: Unless they don't specify anything, in wich case everything KMS should be counting towards it.
PR2 ships only require specific nation and front/back, so you can use any KMS BB/BC/CV to fulfill FDG's requirement. However, watch out for Azuma, her part 1 1.2m exp needs IJN "main fleet", but part2 2.4m exp needs IJN "vanguard".
22 are involved in the Fleet tech page. And around half of these are event exclusive. Suffice it to say, it's probably gonna be hard to get FDG for someone who missed the event with Iron Blood ships like me.
Not only that, only the backline of IB can be used to farm FDG. That's why they are dropping zeppelin chan now and BSM in a month on CN&JP&KR servers-enabling newcomers to have backlines to grind for FDG...@@RandomQuestNPC
The prerequisite for collecting 2m exp is collecting 1m exp...so there is no way going around that. Without finishing the first 1m exp, you cannot go to the later 2m exp. If you mean you farm with high efficiency and get 1m finished before the timer reached 2m exp, then the answer is no...you need to wait for it to unlock and the exp collected before the unlock is not counted.
Yup, it doesn't count. Not even the daily challenges. Nor from the PvP. Nor from Academy. Only from sortie maps, be it the main story, or event sortie maps.
So the 3 mil exp has to be earned once you start building your ship and isn't something that's been carried over from before you started right? And is this exp from everything including dorms?
grinding AI/Bel and PR ships simultaneously is a good idea I'm going for Izumo and i'm grinding SP4, sending my boss kill fleet only to the boss and clearing 5 escorts with a fleet consistant of Furutaka, Kako, Abukuma and Akashi, 37 oil per battle for roughly 2500 exp every time
The issue with that is you don't know if they'll eventually get a retrofit that turns them into great ships, I wouldn't scrap anyone until the ship has a confirmed retro and is still garbage with it.
C projects are free for anything. D and G projects need gold. B projects need clearing certain stages. H projects need cubes. E projects need breaking some equipment or some weapon blueprints. Q projects need enhancement parts. T projects need finishing some commissions.
i would suggest wait until you get all the SR ships in the normal pool before you dive head first into PR, diving head first into end game grinding can be frustrating for new players, set small achievable goals until you get more girls and better gear.
Lvl 120 awakening will be implemented once Chapter 12 will come to EN server. Also what he said for lvl 120 still applies to EN server's lvl 110 max lvl since that's the limit of our awakening lvl right now.

Packing this game in. It never stops with event after event and more stuff on top. Impossible to just play and catch up. Too time consuming, time for me to stop.
