John, it’s odd that you can’t stop talking about the other resellers tbh. It’s strikes me (having watched some of your early videos) that you have issues with loads of people in different areas of life. I remember a fitness vid you did where you’d fallen out with people because of some perceived slight on you. I would bet that this is a running theme in your life. At some point you need to realise that you are the common denominator in all of these situations and that you are viewing actions or inaction of others not as they are intended. This isn’t a dig at you, we all have odd personality traits but to slag off people isn’t the right thing to do. It’s defamatory and really quite childish.

I am so glad someone said this , tried to go on another platform whatnot and I have my own business I do really well on eBay and upgraded to a warehouse , absolutely no support from them just want to take peoples money and follows then not support them when you need it , I was destroyed mentally for a week after no support and how they make look whatnot so easy then won’t follow you or share your shows or buy one thing of you at all !! Their attitude made me doubt myself as a person and it was just so sad . I’m back on eBay selling my stuff for what it’s actually worth and don’t need fakeness and sponsored gifts to make people buy . Thank you for this insight because I doubted myself

You certainly do a good rant Jon. Very entertaining. I follow a few re-sellers mainly because I can learn from them, trying to build a business. George Ross is very good and a guy called Simon " The Gentleman Marketeer", runs his business like a Rolls Royce engine, learnt an awful lot from him. You know me - no nonsense. I disagree over Chaddy as he has really helped me out, and have to speak out in defense there. However being someone who has ADHD and has been isolated my whole life, I think it's low if people having been talking sh@t about you. I do sense that some people like to wind you up on purpose, I have seen that in previous posts. At the end of the day, you are supporting your kid and making 30k a year and that can't be scoffed at, so your doing well and take no notice of others. PS happy to not see my own channel in that list

Hi Jon, New sub here 🖐 I resell part time and started my channel last summer. Not sure if you've come across it. I try really hard to spread my knowledge as I've learnt so much from other people. That's horrible you've had people talk like this, I always try to be open and honest/transparent in my videos about my business. Also to be fair try to keep myself to myself. 😃

You admitted in the video that you’ve never heard Pete/Lola say anything negative towards you so why would you slander them and the resell summit? These events cost a lot of money to host so to say they’re ripping people off is a huge jump to conclusion. I’ve never been myself, but if I was to go it would be to connect with the community and not with the intention of learning anything. I’ve spoken to Pete over IG plenty of times and he comes across as a great guy who’s always happy to advise. Not to mention the amount of free brand knowledge he puts out in his videos.

This vid was a bit different! Cannot see Nick and Andrea Hills doing the same anytime soon! My thoughts for what they are worth is that we are hearing one side of the story only. I think it unwise to make any opinion without hearing the other sides take. One thing old age has taught me, no matter how difficult, is to be the bigger person, also to do the unexpected in life. I recall working with a guy in the office who was in his fifties and he was so good at deflecting others comments. By this I mean for example if you said 'jeez you're an ugly sod' then you'd expect a backlash from me and you're prepared for it. But if I said 'true', now you're thinking ummmmmmmmmm and you're thrown. Thats deflection. Also, another instant reply you can say is one word and that is 'define'. So if you say you're an ugly sod, I reply 'define ugly'. Now you're having to think and had not expected this. Life is just too short. I have to say when I heard Jon say how some resellers were not as they appear on cam I thought of Ricky Resells (dunno why). But Jon spoke highly of him and thats brilliant (I do not know Ricky Resells or any of them but hey). So, Jon life is too short for grudges (and I am Mr Sensitive), however, we are all unique with our own personalities. I consider that the biggest influence on us is our parents or guardians and so on and they way we are raised shapes us for life. Now for some fun and here are a couple of replies you can use to shut people up in a way which will turn things on them but its not nasty. I used to play league snooker for several years for the local British Legion. I was practicing one day with my Brother In Law and I was having an off night on the table. There was a load of blokes watching us and one (Ian) revelled in slagging me in front of the others. I'd had enough, stopped and said "Ian is it true you've had an asshole transplant and the asshole rejected you"? He never mocked me again and was friendly as they come. Another put down you can use is when someone retorts to you "could you be quicker with your replies as I just picked up a parking ticket waiting for your reply". Boom 🙂

I agree with a lot of what you’ve said, i’ve personally had run-ins with a couple of resellers. I refuse to call them ‘big sellers’ or any of the sort, they’re just resellers. So many think that they’re celebrities, but need to be humble. Never came across you before, but well done for actually speaking out against some of the horrible people. People are scared to talk out, but people need to realise it’s big fish small pond mentality, these are regular people. It’s funny, the UK whatnot resellers are tinnnnny compared to the US whatnot resellers. Never known such a toxic community in all my life, and I used to be an influencer 🤣🤣🤣

I started selling on eBay as a hobby a few years ago within 6 months quit my job and went full time about the same time as you. It’s hard but very rewarding. Never thought of doing a RU-vid channel as want to concentrate on just buying listing and selling. But enjoy watching your videos getting hints and tips. Keep going I watch you and a few other genuine ebay resellers.

Not to mention Lola selling dirty, most likely defective clothes straight from the donation bag via live streams and charging premium prices. Absolutely ridiculous, you can't even leave negative comment on their live as 'their people' will roast you. Very bad image for second-hand clothing industry

Jon I don’t normally comment on things like this but to put my husband is wrong at the resellers summit u listed him on ur list when he hadn’t done anything wrong apart from speak to people u didn’t like also u blocked him so he got the impression u didn’t like him so left u alone. I don’t know where Uve got it into ur head about him talking to that group he talks to loads of resellers not just them. Ur carboot video u mentioned that we didn’t talk to u yes we didn’t cause got the impression u didn’t like him.uve seen us loads and not spoke.u say u didn’t fall out with him because he spoke to that group of people then contradicted yourself by saying yes it was because of that. U can talk about us in ur videos and slate him but didn’t like it back.so ur both wrong for doing that.

They're talking about you because if they talked about themselves nobody would listen. They don't care about their followers, they want views and a lot are doing paid promotions now but pretending it is part of the video. If I want to watch adverts I would go stand outside and watch a JCDecaux board. People calling someone drunk, they don't know if that person has a disability or speech impediment - very judgy. I know a reseller and they have had resellers at the car boot try and talk them out of reselling because they find them a threat and want all the stock for themselves. They have full time jobs and are high paid too but want more money doing reselling on the side. Thanks for letting us know that there are toxic resellers out there. I will be avoiding them as they can't be trusted.

Reason 1 to go. As far as I know it's a Free bar, nuff sed. 2, talk to everyone... early, drink water every other 1, also, some people might have their own insecurities. Just like you and me, and we can be full on, so it scares them. Lol. 3. Our accent. Hmm it's not beautiful on the ear. 4. Our honesty, they don't appreciate or trust. We thinks different. 5. Our tenacity, we just won't give up. 6. We don't care what someone else thinks about us, unless you paying our rent. 7. Loyalty we have it in bundles, but it must be earned. 8. You could not get a better friend. 9. Humour, we got it. Enough that we can diversify it as we go. Others can't do that. 10. Our own comfort zone sometimes stops us connecting. I've watched a few of your videos. You seem very ranty and aggressive. You say yourself you have only been doing this for 18 months and I would say, still have a lot to learn about reselling. I have no affiliation with anyone you have mentioned, but. Personally. If I were you. I'd concentrate on my own life rather than others you frequently diss car boot/charity shops prices as too high, but all you are after is a quick cheap flip - don't you think those people might be too?
