Hey family! I just finished my first two week of residency and wanted to drop my weekly vlog updating you all on how it was. Overall, night shift was rough, but by the end of the two weeks, I was well adjusted. The learning curve in residency is crazy, and we learn so much so fast. I realize just how much I learned in medical school when I'm using that clinical knowledge in residency. I'm glad my first block (two weeks) is over, and next, I am moving on to two weeks of outpatient medicine, where I will see patients as a primary care provider in clinic. I am excited because I love longitudinal patient relationships, where I can work with the same patient over years and establish a great doctor-patient relationship with them. Stay tuned!
