Just finished the code Veronica video, congrats on the platinum. It is by far one of the harder games in the series. Zero is another one of those games that are difficult
I'm glad to hear that I've got the plat for two of the harder ones already. I've heard horror stories about RE REV & RE REV 2, but other than that the rest aren't too hard.

Yeah some people have said they haven't gotten the notifications lately. I aint quite sure why but the RE series is all I'm doing until it's all done lol

The resident evil series really means a lot to me. Love the series to death and will always get them day 1…that being said this game is one of the very few I couldn’t find myself to finish. RE 1 remake was amazing and this one builds off of it but the buddy system and item dropping really killed it for me. One day I’ll definitely make myself finish 0 especially if the remake rumors are true.
You gotta branch out fam. I realize there are a lot of RE purists out there that think every RE should be exactly RE1 but that's a flawed line of thinking. If every RE stays difficult and basic like RE1 /RE CV then you never get RE4 or RE5 & you certainly don't ever get RE7/8 because they completely switched that one to first person. I'm not a huge fan of the item dropping system either and RE0 definitely has some flaws but I definitely grew to really enjoy it after playing it for awhile. If they wouldn't have taken a risk by changing the formula with this game they probably never would have taken the risks that created RE4 or RE7 later on.
👏 bravo brother 👏👏👏👏 I have to salute you sir, sadly i have to say, after owning this game upon release for GameCube and owning it over many years, on multiple different systems, I still have not yet beaten RE 0 😅 just dont have the patience or something maybe, which doesn't make much sense growing up with the original on ps1 and seeing as I've managed to beat most the series minus CV. Currently working on that one 🤘
@@platinumgamerscore yeah definitely is, tried to get back into CV after taking a break for a week or two and spent about an hour going through saves just trying to figure out where in the hell I even was in the game 😅 have made it mostly through Zero on multiple playthroughs, just always get to a point in the mansion where the game looses my interest I think.
Yea I will admit aside from the main line characters like Chris and Leon. Billy Badass is up there in terms of side kicks. Him and Piers are holding it down.
Killing 16 bats for me was impossible for the longest time but I eventually tried again several years later and got it using the submachine gun and lightly tapping it while pressing L2 to keep switching targets and hitting other bats. Sometimes I hit the big bat but after a couple tries I finally got it. Also normal leech hunter was a bitch and I had a similar reaction when not once but twice dying after killing most enemies and spending about an hour for nothing just to die and have to retry it all.
You are so right. The bats trophy was needlessly difficult and leech hunter is the 2nd worse extra mode behind RE REV1s raid mode. I feel your pain lol

I was going for the platinum but I dropped a key somewhere about 2hrs in that was obstructed by the many awful fixed camera positions and couldn't find it so I gave up
Oofta. Yeah you gotta be super careful where you drop anything on this game lol. Platinum is pretty brutal on hard but other than the hard run it's a cinch.
RE0 is the only one I have platinum'ed of the entire series lol. I didn't find it particularly hard and I wouldn't say it's the hardest in the series. That would have to go to RE1 or Code Veronica. Even Revelations is probably tougher because of Infernal difficulty and S ranking the raids. RE0 is just time-consuming more than anything else since you have to do like 6 playthrough's and the item management is terrible in the game. Having no item box in this game is a real bummer, half your playtime is spent just organizing your inventory.
It's not horrible in the grand scheme of things. Leech Hunter is awful and the hard mode playthrough takes some serious strategy and skill. You basically have to run past as many enemies as possible to stockpile ammo for the final fight.
Thought I commented on this guess not. If you and other people who comment think this is hard you’re wrong. Got the achievements twice on two accounts and the platinum on my PlayStation. If you think this is hard you can’t really call yourself a resident evil fan. It’s grindy not hard. Two separate things.
Tomato tomato fam. Just because some people play RE on the regular and others don't, doesn't make them any less of a fan than the person next to them. Is it the hardest platinum out there no, is it the easiest platinum out there also no. Congrats on your 3 100%s.
The title is also a joke in and of itself because it's the first game in the series, so it by default was the hardest lol. On a more positive note, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment even if you didn't like the video fam. I greatly appreciate it.
Pretty sure I got the PS4 version of the 2002 game fam. It's part of the Resident Evil Origins collection and it's a remaster of the 2002 RE1 game. You are right though I did use the wrong game cover in this video though lol.
