To think that originally, the guys at Capcom planned to have both William and Annette infected with the G-Virus. That would've either been an awesome combination, or a clusterfucked nightmare.
That's what was originally proposed in Resident Evil 1.5, but if they go with releasing it as an extra for beating the game, then I'm all for it. It certainly would add a challenge to the genesis of the vaccine,
Even on the remake, the soundtrack still fit in. Once I put the old soundtrack, I almost never switch it back to the remake version, especially when it comes to Birkin fight. Epic.
I remember when my brother used to play this in the dark at like 11pm. And I used to stay up as a 6 year old kid in fear just because of the music. Those were the days!
Annette: As a result of his virus induced transmutation William should have lost any prior memories he had as a human by now. Even worse every G Virus bioweapon including William has the ability to implant embryos into other lifeforms. That's why he's after Sherry. Claire: What? Annette: The bodies of individuals with non related genetic coding are likely to reject the embryo. But since Sherry is his daughter that possibility is nonexistent. It's an inherent survival instinct.
Xehanort10 Of course since Birkin is not himself anymore, it's the virus itself that want to reproduce. Also those Ashford kids aren't just into incest. It's self-cest (lol do we have that term?) since both are genetic clone of the Ashford matriach.
In all honesty considering the punishment the two have gone through before they died, they would just keep going until Nemesis found the Tyrant corpse. Killing Birkin required a train self destructing *with him fully in it* Nemesis took a rail gun to the face *and lived* until Jill emptied a magnum into his face to finish him, after he absorbed a tyrant of course. The main key is that while Birkin continues to grow stronger, Nemesis would adapt and find a new way to fight him, effectively meaning they fight continuously until they stumble along a tyrant for Nemesis to absorb.
Bronze Gremlin I'd say Nemesis Final Metamorphosis is stronger because Birkin's 5th form only took 2 shots from the rocket launcher and a few shots from any other gun to beat. Then the self destructing train blew up taking him with it.
Truly incredible theme, 2nd form is really when he became G and lost his humanoid body, and makes it obvious the eye on his arm was the one in title menu
This was that song that I had to find online back in 1998, when that wasn't always the easiest thing lol. Pre-Napster even...I honestly don't remember how I used to find stuff like South Park episodes and video game OST's. Damn were some VG OST's hard AF to find back in the day. Kids are so spoiled these days lol, they have no idea how hard it was to do the things they take for granted...
This is the best song from R.E.2 I love listening to this. Song just evokes power and fear inspiring-awe. Much prefer this to the remakes version. Love that you can get this older version to the play in the modern RE2 though, Soon as I was able I swapped out the games soundtracksl with the older classic one.
@@davidgallardoiii8079 Yeah, it's is possible, but not for free :/ . They, from Capcom should enter on start game options, old soundtrack, or new in Resident Evil 2 Remake.
When i was little I thought i was so hard just because i killed him with the pistol as claire. Also, this better be in the reboot. This guy was my all time most feared villain other than the nemesis and Mr.x because even in the safe area around the tram, i was afraid he'd just jump down on me.
When I played as a youngster, I always thought that Birkin´s new head was that of an eagle. Which made it both cool and scary! Then again, only later I appreciated the little detail of where his old head is at...
I'm very disapointed Capcom didn't add this theme when we fight Birkin in "Resident evil operation racoon city" with the echo six team in mission 4. This ost is so epic. They added final Nemesis theme of RE 3 when we fight Nemesis then why not this one too when we fight G ?
Yeah very strange considered Capcom use their in-house music composer yet the soundtrack was very bland and unimaginative. They threw in some famillar melody here and there such as Parasite Tyrant's resemble the beginning of T-B themeand Nemesis's but that's it. Overall ORC is a fail in every aspect.
While unoriginal like the aforementioned game, it at least tries with its storylines. Some work more efficiently than others, namely Chris' story, since it brings a layer of conflict that can happen with anyone (inner conflict). Best game, no. However, I can't call it a terrible one either.
Max Dresser you clearly never played Resident evil survivor now THAT game was beyond horrendous............worse yet it is considered part of the cannon story even though its only refrenced once at the begining of resident evil 0 saying an outbreak occured on sheena island............but yeah survivor was designed to be used with one of those light gun zappers however that was banned from usage in the U.S and well..............it just plain sucked..........ORC though? close second
Rwesthuis She was a good character but a really bad mother who valued her obsession with her husband's creation over her daughter. She may have given Claire the antidoe to stop William's G Embryos growing in Sherry's body but that was only shortly before she died. At least she admitted she'd been a terrible mother though.
Playing Resident Evil: Revelations yesterday and this part came up where I had to get to a certain part of the game before the timer ran out. Turned this on, ran like hell, wasted very little ammunition on engaging unimportant enemies.
This was my favorite boss fight song of any Resident Evil (up to CV..Alexia boss fight music is pretty bad ass) for a long time...it was an "wav" I downloaded in 1998 lol...good old hour of waiting to download a 2 min 25 sec song hahah. I don't even remember what we used then since we all had AOL, and this pre-dated Napster by over a year. Hmm...
Infinitely better than the Generic Orchestra No.62 from the REmake The REmake is still incredibly amazing, it's just that Birkin's themes aren't as good anymore
