I have played this game for 16 years, over and over, and watched my brother play it for longer than that, and I have NEVER seen this Carlos scene. That is insane!
If you later escape the train before it crashes, Carlos will have a scene of losing his mind thinking that there is no way out of the city. (It's implied that he was losing it after killing Murphy as well) that's why I like to take the choice of having Carlos do it because he comes back later to help Jill fight Nemesis regardless of his freakout in the clock tower. (As if he had regained his courage) RE3 isn't the best game when it comes to story but It's incredible how the people behind this game still put a decent amount of effort in it, unlike the RE3 Remake that is rather mediocre. I wish RE3 got a proper Remake by the people behind RE4R but that's a wet dream at this point. Regardless, the original RE3 is a timeless classic and a masterpiece.
Yeah you got it. It's when you choose to use the emergency brake instead. Carlos will have a freak out in the clock tower but will come back later to save Jill.
@@wedasantika6079 That's not neccesary to trigger the Carlos freakout cutscene. What triggers that cutscene is using the emergency brake. If you want Carlos to kill Murphy you have to either jump out of the window in the building or choose to escape the restaurant through the hidden basement. What really decides what cutscene you'll see is your choices in the live selection. In my own headcannon tho, I like to think that part of the reason why Carlos was losing his mind in the clock tower was because he was disturbed about killing Murphy.
@@hibikiverdugo9465 I mean if you chose emergency brake and entered clock tower from courtyard, do you still have business to that burning room? In jump off train route you'll start on that burning room and get the first clock tower key also in that room.
It's dependent on which location Jill meets Carlos at during the 3rd encounter (whether it's the Newspaper office or the Restaurant) with Nemesis as well as whether or not you fight Nemesis and down him there or just run. I usually get the outcome with Carlos at the gas station and Nicholai shooting Murphy because I normally don't run away at minimum I hide and use the lantern to stun the drop item out of Nemesis.
@@taviki19 you can also get it at the newspaper office by choosing to jump out the window the main thing is you have to just leave immediately and not temporarily down Nemesis by hiding in the back or in the kitchen and don't stay and fight him.
It all depends during live selection choice when you met Carlos for the first time. -go to basement (restaurant) or jump out window (press office) > Carlos in sales office - Nikolai in gas station -hide in the back (free loot from Nemesis in Hard mode) > Nikolai in sales office - Carlos in gas station
Wow, it's amazing there's still so much stuff I've never seen in this game! I don't know if you'll see this, but I had a fun idea for a challenge video: "Can you beat RE3 with just two item slots?" I think it's the minimum possible you can do, because you still have to combine items.
That reminds me...have been wondering what if you didn't run or hide during that live selection (let the timer run out) about Carlos/Nicolai placements later in Sales Office/Gas Station.
He told Nicholai to wait, but he begged Carlos to kill him. Hmm… What if Carlos just makes people want to die? 😂 Murphy didn’t even know he was infected. He was just sick and tired of Carlos talking about his collection of Pogs. It was the 90s after all
