Kinda ironic I guess, goes on about Hollywood cliches, then gets killed by the resident evil cliche of finishing the final boss off with a rocket launcher :)
Saddler: Hm hm hm. Leon: What's so funny? Saddler: Oh, I think you know. The "American prevailing" is a cliche' that only happens in your Hollywood movies. Oh Mr. Kennedy, you entertain me! In order to show my appreciation, I will help you awaken from your world of cliches.
Then Leon proceeds to mount Saddler and stab his mouth eye with ease. Seriously, this guy was all talk and a total pushover. It almost makes me wish Krauser was the final boss.
It's awesome when you play with Ada Wong and can see this fight from a distance. The developers were so detalhist with this game. I think RE4 was the first to do that kind of "cross-over".
I know I'm replying to a 5 year old comment but this is one of things that RE6 did really well. The fight with Simmons might have been fucking stupid but seeing it playing it from multiple perspectives was cool as hell.
@@megaultradamn yeah, I don't know about that. What about the remake Saddler feels like a classic 007 villain? Nothing. At least in the original we knew what Saddler was planning to do with Ashley.
People alwys talk about wesker but they forget saddler he is so underrated He's voice actor is amazing and he is Great manipulator and making fun of his enemy also his design is badass he alone managed to control almost an entire country ( spain ) and threat the usa And many people dont know he was with Umbrella Corporation until they betray him so He wants to take revenge on them But sadly his fight "the final boss fight" was so bad and so easy I hope in the remake we see more of him and his fight to be better
RE Devs: We made a new RE final boss which we made sure is by far more harder to kill RE Pro Players: Come on, bring it on! RE Devs: This final boss has these characteristics: No eyeballs... RE Pro Players: *Panik! 😨
I played this game for less than that and I beat it 12-13 times, including the mercenaries (which btw is really hard at first) , all maps five stars, I got all infinite ammo weapons, all costumes, and beat separate ways. And I still LOVE this theme, it's so epic
People say saddler was easy Saddler might not have be that hard on normal. but on pro it was a completely different story. People never fought him on pro.
@@ashyoshicharizard3949 i know right i only had like 3 or 4 grenades and i only had magnum amo broken butterfly did the job for me now pro mode is walk in the park 😍😍
He was definetely cool, although he made some seriously stupid mistakes. For example, instead of revealing his plan to Leon and Ashley, he should have just let them go without having any idea what's inside of them. And when Ashley returns home, she gets out of control because of Las Plagas inside of her, and a fiesta happens across the entire USA. He did mention that he wanted ransom for her though, but I wouldn't risk it if I were him.
@@ashyoshicharizard3949 Omg you actually got me 🙌😅 Now imagine an alternate universe where Saddler wins and is a badass multi-part villain who is on par with Wesker
@@FirearmEnthusiast the graphics are phenomenal but my expectations are still kind of low because after what they did to Resident Evil 3 remake by cutting have all the good stuff from the OG I'm just scared they're going to do the same thing for Resident Evil 4
@@jenn5628 I felt the same way initially. However RE3 was not made by the same development team that made RE2. I was also severely disappointed by the blatant shame that RE3 brings to the remakes. 1 and 2 were done extremely well. By the looks of it, RE4 remake looks to follow suit of the original very closely.
@@FirearmEnthusiast agreed. Like it was too short also. I heard the development team that made RE2 remake is going to make RE4 remake so there is definitely some hope
Probably the most fun boss of the game. I knew about adas rpg, but I literally started fuckin with him. Dodging his moves, repeatedly shooting his leg eyes, I wanted to fuck with him, like he fucked with me the entire game. I killed his homeboys, wrecked his village, raided the castle, and obliterated his last defenses. I wanna think that deep down, he knew he was fucked.
Just beat RE4 for the first time last week and holy shit...going in blind flr this boss was rewarding. I died so many times to the fact he can just jump atop you sometimes even when i ran. But finally beating him was a great feeling.
I found out about this song from SharkJamez’s Pokémon Hack Series a long time ago called “Legends of Pokémon.” It’s still on RU-vid. He used this song later in the series towards the end when the group was running away from Missingno and boarded the boat from Mossdeep. Super intense.
Saddler: Laughs Leon: What’s so funny Saddler: Oh I think you know, the American pre valiant is a cliche to only happen in your Hollywood movies. Oh Mr Kennedy you entertain me to show my precision I will help you awaken from your world of cliches.
I agree, I still think Osmund can be a hard boss unless you know how to pick him off, shooting his eyes and doing the Krauser knife stab to the eye trick, I always bought an extra rocket from the merchant AND used the red rocket that Ada gives you to finish him off. I'll tell you this, if you can shoot his eye with the rocket launcher when he's down for a few seconds it'll give you a huge chance to finish him off.
@@OmegaVideoGameGod Its good to see that someone agrees. I always try to ram him with the metal pipes on the crane. And that jump attack has killed me more times then I can count. Thanks for that tip aswell, I'll try it next time. 👍
@@Cyansyde Try to stay on the bottom side, don't pick up the red rocket ada throws until you can just run over the bridge on either side once it turns on so you don't have to jump to the ledge and saddler jumps over there chances are he'll try to land next to you. Also don't let him throw stuff I've noticed the reaction times are impossible to dodge, I always though the game designers must have overlooked those ones. Try to run in straight lines and circles around him once he gets close, shoot his eyes on his body to drop him, and once his eye in his mouth opens up shoot him with a very strong weapon and then try to jump on him for extra damage Try to stand next to him after you've shot him to try to jump up on him if you can. I also noticed if you bring green grenades they'll drop him too. There's also a couple explosion barrels you can get a free drop too. Good luck, you'll get him, if anything message me again, I'll help you out. ~ Travis :D
there was no need for a special rocket launcher with a special one, this does not in any way affect the further plot and it was not needed in the game. Saddler hopefully could survive
If this Ashley was killed in the plot, it would not have influenced the further plot, the plan Saddler would not have worked. in general, it is not necessary to use this special rocket launcher one against the last boss, this does not in any way affect the further plot, and special rocket launcher was not needed at all. I hope Saddler could survived, best character. It would be better if Krauser was the final boss, he wanted so badly to take Saddler's place hopefully, hopeKrauser is dead.
Krauser would've been easily killed by Saddler before his transformation. His monster form is sluggish, unlike Saddler's humanoid form, which is extremely agile and powerful.
I gotta say ... This boss was really disappointing ... They should make like a two phase boss , the first part him being in his human form , and second part the spider thing ... Just my opinion though
@Dutch_H_13 in the rename when you fight him because of all the explosions, novistadors flying around, Saddlers roars and stampings you can't hear the music at all. The softer tones for the remake theme aren't loud or bombastic enough for the fight, which is why I prefer the original
