They couldn’t it’s called “ ageism” a form of discrimination ESG made sure of that. There is also a scene in the first game where a female is pinned to a wall with a skythe and Leon says “ I guess there is no sexual discrimination here..”. In the remake it’s not even there. Yeah….
@@guillaumecollins548Dude, there is literally a scene of a female hiker getting killed in the opening. They don't have to put it in a text for you to get the idea of who these people are. Just because they didn't mention his age doesn't mean anything, because it's remake for fans. Everyone who's played it knows his age. Learn what wokeness is.
Where is the second Verdugo? In the original there were two, one in the sewers & a second he merges with for the transformation. Is it me or did the second one just vanish from the game? I genuinely cannot remember haha!
I can't defeat this guy, I'm in hardcore and I hit him with everything I have, and believe me I have a lot of amo and knifes and he just can't die, I don't know what that hell...
@@OmegaVideoGameGod yes it's the only way he can get down and you can stab him in the eye or whatever that thing is. I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what it is
I’m literally having the same issue! Getting closer with each try but hardcore is hard! I’m finding I’m doing a lot of damage using the semi-automatic rifle with no scope. Gets him on the ground pretty quick.
after you damage him enough, he falls down and you can knife him. Im sure you are aware of this, however after that his body is exposed on the ground for like 4 seconds, get as close as you can and shotgun him. During his recovery animation he deals no damage
This fight is so brutal on hardcore but so fucking good Best boss in the game Could be the best one in the franchise, but I still have a few games to go through Glad I didn't realize that the bosses could be cheesed with the rocket launcher Although I'm sad I didn't think of throwing the golden egg at him, that's kinda genius
The animations when you get knocked down make this fight stupid smh. They honestly need to fix the amount of time it takes to get back up after getting smacked around 3+ times in a row
I died like 30 times before killing him on standard. Honestly, I think the fight is broken, too RNG, after first knife attack he becomes ridiculous, some of his attacks are unavoidable, there's no way to read some of the attacks, he is GOING THROUGH FLOOR and shit, which makes no sense, animations of Leon fuck shit up, it's a mess.
Well the remake follows the novelization better than the original did. By the time of 4, Leon was a broken man who grew weary of all the outbreaks and didn't want a repeat of Raccoon City.
He's actually allergic to eggs, so when you throw eggs at him it does a decent amount of damage. Golden eggs take away 90% of his health, which allows you to basically skip the fight for free.
I enjoyed the game alot and now got the Infinite Rocket Launcher, Sweeper and Handcannon. I like how they removed that annoying giant target on the Rocket Launcher and we can now have a faster genocide party! I also miss the old ganados funny scream voices specially when they're climbing up the ladder then i kick the ladder for them to fall.
@Matt Michel amazingly I manaaged to beat that on my first try. It helps to use them to kill cultists at first. I always kept a rocket launcher handy in the original for that specific room, I was caught off guard
As a vietnamese, the name Ramón Salazar is somewhat hilarious. "Ra Món" in vietnamese means "bring out the dish". From that, i always think that Ramón loves a type of food known as salazar. So he calls himself "Ramón Salazar" lol
Oh man! Capcom sure do know how to create epic boss battles. By far the best in the game surpassing Saddler. I thought he was a little easy, but Ramon was pretty tough.
@@hunterstorys9330 OK good points... though Krauser soon developed the mutations. But yes, they could have made him bigger and more monstrous right from the get go. I suppose they couldn't have had the end scene with Leon if they went that route.

When i defeated Ramon, my reaction was very similar to Kincaid's reaction in Nightmare on Elm Street 4 when he drops the car on Freddy in the junkyard. "Yeaaaaaahhh-whoooooooh! Take that motherfucker!"
This shit was unbelievably hard. I thought I was gonna go insane based on how many times I got close to killing him before his stupid acid got me first
i found this boss fight so hard but found body armour really helped which you can purchase from the merchant for 18,000 if anyone is struggling on this fight currently
Salazar: You are a fool Mr. Kennedy to have been bestowed with Lord Saddler's grace and yet fail to...... Leon: Aaaaaahhhh shaddup!!!!!! "Bang! Bang! Bang!" Salazar: Goddammit. K fine, fuck this, fight me!
I used to play RE4 in my GameCube a lot because it’s such a fun game. For some reason when it came to this boss fight I always went out of my way to buy the Rocket Launcher to just 1HKO him. Even when doing a New Game+ with overpowered gear I just always gave him the fast death treatment. Needless to say, I did the same for the remake to keep with tradition (which is why I’m watching this just to see how the fight plays out). I think him being such an annoying (albeit funny) little prick always made me want to get him to shut his mouth as fast as possible 😅😂
Lmao in the OG, I'd carry the free RPG all the way to Salazar JUST for the purpose of swatting the pompous prick like the fly he is. ...also I didn't want to be bothered fighting him.
Yeah, this stupid POS wouldn’t die so thankfully I had this in my reserves and it was so good to blast this stupid cheap Spanish midget back to the 8th circle of hell in one shot.
Might I add, the running gameplay mechanics on this is terrible and it makes me abhor playing as Leon Kennedy. He is literally made out to be the slowest in the entire franchise. He should have and would have died early-on if this was real-life. My least favorite video game protagonist ever. His lady-killer looks aside, he's truly made out to be the lamest. Capcom made sure to slow him down during combat. Pathetic.
The cherry on top of this memorable boss fight is the journal that you find by Ramon's house keeper shortly after the battle. Learning that the Salazar family was entrusted to keep the Las Plagas contained underground, along with the discovery that Ramon's father wanted his son to live an honest, decent life, leaves you feeling punched in the gut. Ramon was no saint, but he was clearly just another victim in Sadler's quest for power.
I never understand when these tiny characters morph into gigantic meat monsters. Where is all that extra mass coming from? You are packing that much meat into a tiny little body. Please explain.
thatbeetus 1912 no it ain.t. in og he was mounted to wall. and didn.t move. at all. hes too eazy, u just don.t like a challenge. in remake. hes improved. he should of been like this in the og.
