Yes it is much harder but that's why I love the remake playing this game makes it feel familiar yet new as someone who is a master at the original re 4 playing this feels like a fresh experience and it's like re learning a game you already played I love how much the combat has changed and improved it makes it so that you have to take everything you learned from the original game and throw it out the window cuz now this time around the combat is much more brutal and unforgiving even with the new parrying mechanic I also like how if you play professional your limited to perfect parry's making professional mode a true test of skill
I'm playing on Hardcore mode for my first run. Up until this point I only died twice, and always had plenty of ammo and heals. This cabin fight I died 6 times plus I kept revert back to a checkpoint about 20 times. It took me 40 minutes to beat the part.
My friend watching me get to the bull part for the third time was like okay you still have the first aid spray don’t die, immediately after the bull hits me and my entire health bar drops… prompting me to use my last spray 😂
I actually played the OG version and im at the cabin part I was just about to shoot luis in every time i see this i feel stupid for doing it instead of funny that "adios Leon" line really makes you like why you do that?
I don't like how the game literally doesn't acknowledges you press R2. I literally pressing R2 but much like you, it doesn't prompt the knife kill. Very frustrating.
You have to be facing the prompt head on sometimes. Also I’m not sure if it’s possible but I get the execution prompt for Plagas head enemies which is odd because they don’t have a head anymore 😅
