Minus the snow, am I the only one that feels revillage environment feels more like the original re4 than the remake does ? There’s parts in the re4 remake where the sun is up and shining, and even parts where your playing in a beautiful sunset type setting. Revillage, is cold, dark, grey, foggy, and completely hopeless. Re4 remake looks like a place I’d like to vacation, village looks like a nightmare
Tbh i like villages aesthetic more than resident evil 4. Idk about more original but re4 is 16th centry mid eastern and with the island military light science fiction Village js fairy tale Victorian which is more interesting to me Although 4 is just a better game
I prefer the controls for village personally. Ethan can jump over and off objects and roofs easily just by using the control stick in that direction, in the 4 remake you usually need to press X which feels like a step backwards to me. Mainly i find this becomes an issue when you're on a roof and need to hop off quickly to avoid coming enemies, ethan will automatically hop off no problem but leon needs to get into a certain position and then press X which takes more time and allows enemies to get a few hits in

The inventory in 8 is like the inventory system in 4, but a lot worse. If you try and place an item over another item in 4, it replaces rhe item that was there and now you have to move the other item. In 8 you simply cannot put an item down if another item is in a square. Very lame. Graphically much lamer too. 2D vs 3D
