Thanks capcom for playable Luis Serra, his lance, the dynamite and his theme with spanish vibes is so badass. He's supposed to be ex Umbrella scientist but he's capable of handling things on his own really well.
If anyone's wondering, Ada and Wesker are not only going to be added to Mercenaries, but they're ALREADY in the game with their model and animations and everything. They just haven't been implemented yet. I guess they're waiting for Seperate Ways (which also has some mentions in the game files) to make them playable :/

I really hope Capcom makes a pure Mercenaries game like they did for the 3DS and just add all the RE characters because this is a big improvement from the previous version we gotten for mercenaries.
How is this version an improvement? It isn’t even unlimited. RE4, 5, 6, and even 3 had a set time limit and you had enough time for a true horde mode and get the highest score.
@@hachelyd_i3232 to be honest, the OG Mercenaries from 4 had limited enemies, by the way. Due to weakness of consoles at that time couldn't get more than 150 AND some of them wouldn't spawn if you don't do specific actions. So, the whole 120+ combo gets thrown into nothing just because Ganado don't spawn anymore
I absolutely loved playing krauser especially his special form, absolutely demolished everyone lol I hope they add Ada and weskers in future updates, that would surely be a blast
Separate Ways and then Ada/Wesker in Mercenaries Mode + Operation Javier DLC's would be awesome! ❤️ After that, relaunch Resident Evil 3 Remake as a Complete version, with all the original missing content. 💙
I'm glad you added Luis as a playable characters, very fun mode; though like everyone else I hope Ada, Wesker, and a fourth stage get added eventually.
@@TheFlyingAcid you and me both :( honestly, playing RE5 split screen with my boyfriend are one if my most fond memories ever. But apparently rendering two screens is really hard on the hardware. God I wish they do RE5 remake and keep the split screen, it was SO GOOD. Yeah yeah people shit on RE5 but as a coop game? 10/10, we play it on professional every half a year, done like 15 playthroughs so far and 2 platinum trophies 😂
I think the model of Wesker you can inspect in game gives us some sneaky Foreshadowing of his gun in mercs being a Punisher! Also Thanks for giving us Luis in this one! And Hunk plays so perfectly is not even funny with his neck breaker but bringing his iconic MP5 (instead of a modded TMP).
i personally like them not having achievements tied to it, makes platinuming it a bit more streamlined. I could see them adding some with the DLC when that comes out/is announced since apparently thatll add a harder difficulty, but usually DLC achievements are separate from maingame ones for a platinum so i would be content with that for sure.
I got the delux edition and everything, I would love a Co-op Survival Mode, like when you're with Luis in the Cabin and have to last a certain amount of time. You guys should add that, a new survival mode and see how long you can survive and maybe add a few side objectives to it. Anyways despite that request I have to say that I am really enjoying the resident evil 4 it's very nicley put together and I Pray there will be a co-op survival mode (see how long you can last in the cabin or this map) kinda thing. welp time to go play this amazing game now

What a wasted opportunity... Everyone was expecting a full roster especially when the animations and outfits for ada and Wesker were already being put into mods! Plus, no co-op means no replayability. Just like village's. They could have make this big with more characters, more maps and this would have been more popular than REVERSE. We know OG didn't have coop but this is not 2005 anymore people. It was very possible to do it. Too bad ! They could have modernized this version of The Mercenaries a little more.
Yeah especially after the delay and seeing the model and animation already being turn into mods. I get it, it's marketing on their part but damn why 3 maps and why Leon alts according to rumors also update. Leon alts is whatever is in the campaign plus different loadout.
Super Excited! Cannot understate how badly I miss Mercenaries w/Multiplayer like RE5 had though. Used to waste away hours trying to crack the leaderboard with friends.. 😢
I'm still playing for the rest of the Evil 4 remake one thing that sticks for me is that for some reason the first Arena fight at the village is my favourite fight in the game :D
@@AlexanderMartinez-kd7cz RE3R is the best game they've made since Zero. The fact that some NPCs hate it only exposes how little they know of good gameplay. 3R plays way better than 2R and 4R.

Ada and Wecker will have game characters, you can tell just because they were on the list of game characters before the release of the mode, and yes it's partly due to the development of Separate Ways.....

My guess is that they will make an entire big Resident Evil roster eventually, but they will be paid DLC, so its' probably not just Wesker and Ada but also probably characters such as Chris, Claire and.. uh... Ramon Salazar

wait a second i have a question. if you play mercenaries with the classic soundtrack enabled, do you get the classic theme songs (ie hunk, krauser, and leon)?
Now, with Ada and Wesker in the game mode. I hope we get another loadout for Luis since his classic outfit is in the game. Or maybe add Ashley into Mercs. I always liked that Rebecca had a clumsy playstyle in RE5 Mercs. Fingers crossed for Ashley. I hope the devs will do it.
Should've had online co-op a missed opportunity, would've been a blast with friends, hope it has a chance to be in an update or something. Also kinda bummed how we gotta wait for Ada and Wesker to be added as DLC.... Most likely when Ada's separate way's campaign is released :/. Also needs more characters from the remakes like Claire and Jill hopefully and maps like RPD etc.

If you want a co-op in mercenaries then go play Mercenaries in Re5 or Re6 since those have co-op. Re4 Mercenaries in both original and remake doesn't have co-op nor split screen.

Capcom, you released a cropped the Mercenaries DLC, no Wesker, no Ada Wong, no Mercenaries/Main Story rewards, only 3 maps. I understand that you left more content for the Mercenaries in the release of the Separate Ways DLC, but when will they be? How much longer to wait?
Was kinda hoping that the Reward for S+ on all Stages would be the P.R.L 412 since the Handcannon was obtainable before Mercenaries released. Also, HUNK Outfit for Leon when?
Lol not sure why people are happy about this. Notice how the mercenaries is labeled as "free." By default it should have came with the game. This implies that it was generosity on their part, which btw is missing Ada and Wesker. On that note, I wouldn't be surprised if Separate Ways is going to be a Separate Fee instead.
We don't need co-op. It ruined all series. If you need it, play in different games. RE is SP only and it should be in that way always. We just brought back series to it's roots. We need less action, more horror.

The Mercenaries HUD looks really cluttered, please add options to disable/toggle it off 🙏🏼 also please shrink down the Mayhem bar it takes up too much space on the screen
What was the difficulty in making a belt for a shotgun when changing weapons, scratch it on the back levitates in 4 remake in 2019 in remake 2 was done, were you too lazy here?
i always imagined how cool it would be if RE2 had a fun horde mode, just simply going guns blazing against waves of monsters in the police station, maybe they still can in 4. they could probably have stages based off 2 and maybe have claire return as a player character, and enemies like the licker and mister x in it too.
To be honest re4 remakes mercenaries is obviously so much funner than the original had a blast playing it tonight for the first time everything is just wow weapons , newly added mayhem bonus , got a's and s+ ranks with all the characters , just way more awesome. Thank you Capcom you guys fucking killed it no pun intended.
Hey creators if u guys don’t want people to do a fan remake of the code Veronica than maybe u might as well make a remake just saying if u r gonna remake the older games there’s no point skipping over, than u might was well remake this one than u won’t have to deal with a bunch of backlash and tbh it’s kinda in need of a remake 😅 sorry if I’m being rude but maybe in the future would u change your mind, or is it like a final decision? Any way to increase the difficulty or balance the abilities? I’ve been playing since the origins of Mercenaries and this feels too easy. Fun, but easy.
