Thanks for watching everyone, here’s a bonus video where I just needed to get this off my chest. Let me know what you think as always & I’ll never bend the knee to these insane people. Have a dope day! Instagram: endymionn Twitter: EndymionYT
It's funny, because he's now arguing against the idea that black people can't be tribal and that's a stereotype, but at the same time when you think about BLM, they are very tribal a lot of black people happened to be very tribal at heart, now I kind of agree with him, that there are black people out there who don't live in that stereotype demographic, but the vast majority of them still do. So instead of calling out racism for this game, he should instead try to change his people, try to get them to not be tribal anymore, because ultimately that's his full goal is it not? I mean if you don't want people to be racist, stop giving them reasons to be racist, simply said.
Honestly this plus the style of Incentivized reviews only exist to increase positive review numbers for games are really going to be bad for the future of game journalism.
Only real gaming journalism is to just buy and play it yourself. I have never once bought a game on my own judgement only to find it sucked. I have however bought a few games based on reviews and found them to be terrible!
Except that it isn't, and nor is the real driving force behind all of this, the far left political ideology, which will only grow in scope and is, in fact, only growing in scope.
@Jack Plisken I'm black & I find that HILARIOUS 🤣 I'm guessing I don't need to why because this video does that plenty. *It is so weird how they see games in such a light.* So... unhinged. Wanting to be politically correct in a Zombie Apocalypse sends me
Well the last transphobic game I played was pretty cool, so I'm going to buy the racist one. Imagine what they could do with sexism, ageism, coulourism, fatphobia and so on.
Sooo when they love something does that mean it’s bad? Lol there’s a flaw in your logic. Maybe that’s the case sometimes. But y’all gotta stop dealing criticism in absolutes.
They tried to say resident evil 4 was racist because Leon was killing Spanish people in some random village. What saved him from that accusation was the fact that he learned Spanish 🤣
@@channel_no_longer_active I hate that. On my phone, it used to not recognize words like “meerkat” and forced me to input a “T” where the “R” was supposed to go. Even “parrot” wasn’t recognized. Ridiculous.
@lunar services y’all brought it up, not me. So looking back, yea it is. The white savior slaughtering a whole bunch of Africans. Racist. Would you want a black character going through the country, killing white government officials? No? Ok then
@@Ishbikes 😂 I can manage in a real zombie apocalypse seeing you get eaten because you don't want to shoot a zombie because you think it's a racist and I'll be laughing at you lol
If Capcom does make a RE5 remake, there needs to be an added scene where the infected villagers start attacking a tourist, Chris tries to save them by shooting the infected, but the tourist blocks his line of sight and says "We can't fight them! That'd be racist and insensitive to their culture!" Then the villagers kill the tourist.
The game already play that stereotype in the first section. There's literally a random blond lady (tourist) that get's kidnapped by majini in a cut scene.
Resident Evil 5 was the first game in the series I ever played. I am black. Never once did I ever think this is racist. I am going to be pissed if my favorite game in the series does not get remade because someone has double standards for their zombies
Arguably it's the most inclusive: it shows that black people are normal people just like everyone else-normal in the sense of being equally susceptible to the zombie virus.
Come on, the part you go to the swamps they were taking the piss. A dark black woman with black features is unacceptable in most media. This stuff is very common in the media. And they know what they do but dont give a shit because they see non whites are lesser.
A.I. can be dumb regardless of chosen character. a notion of "Sheva is stupid" seems to have grown from the odd design choice of forcing you to play only as Chris on 1st playthrough (unless you join a co-op session). the inclusion of Sheva was just an answer to "racist" backlash, she came and went just like a bunch of other side characters across various RE media.
@@sn-x-wtno she was in development before the trailer that got the racist backlash, she wasn't finished enough to be shown at that time. The voice actress for Sheva has the evidence to back that up. Sheva was made for the co-op action shooter bandwagon back in 2009, that's why characters like Wesker barely acknowledge her, because she was made for co-op, not the story. Hopefully in re5make she and Josh get more spotlight to themselves.
As a young black man it’s really offensive when those who think we need their protection because like you said they see brown/black and instantly think weak inferior etc. Re 5 was an pretty awesome game bedsides the end. I hope Capcom continue’s to do their own thing and stick to their formula because RE4 remake is so good and I’m looking forward to whatever is next for RE.
As an Italian guy, I'd LOVE a Resident Evil set here. We have some awesome sceneries and old buildings and ancient ruins, you could also make a social commentary on how our mafia first sells people indebted to them to the Umbrella, then realizes the mistake and uses its various weapons in order to survive, just an idea.
@@gabejq it would be a dream! Even the character would be pretty interesting, the mc could be a crook who was forced to join the organization in order to provide to his family, a circumstance that here happens too often, and at first he has to escort the debtors, finding the whole situation fishy but keeping quiet in order to keep his "job", then he notices on a local newspaper that a murder took place in his city, and the victims are the parents of one of those debtors, and then one night the murderer, who is exactly that debtor turned into a monster, tries to kill him in order to get his revenge, this being the only thing in his now twisted and corrupted mind. And here starts the survival game. It would be a bit cliché, but still probably fun to play.
Lets stsrt spreading that breathing air is racist. Best case scenario, they'll realize their stupidity. Worst case, they all die trying to stop breathing. And if they're really so stupid enough to end up the latter... Welll nothing of value would be lost.
Just like you said, once infected with any of the viruses or the plaga, all feelings go out the window and anyone of any color or creed can catch the hands. I feel super worried about the future of gaming, i can just see safe spaces and watered down stories because somebody somewhere is gonna get their feelings hurt about a fictional story with fictional characters. 🤷
Who is surprised? - According to them, everything is racist. I wouldn't even be surprised if they soon say that bread is racist because there is white bread and black bread. 🤷♂️
I miss the days where someone could just dislike or not be a fan of something without having to be OFFENDED by it. There are plenty of shows, movies, albums, books, etc. that don’t float my boat. I learned of an amazing solution when this happens. It’s called DON’T WATCH, LISTEN TO, READ IT, etc. It is pure genius. That way, we can all enjoy what we like and we can all avoid that which we don’t like 🤯
Political correctness and virtue signaling in a nutshell. They don't care about the games/movies/shows until it represents them against the things they despise in reality.
You would think. Except people now need to whine and complain about anything in order to feel like they are doing something of importance with their lives. Otherwise they would have to confront the fact that they are contributing nothing of value.
I will never understand these critics. This game literally set place in Africa, and in fictional towns, mind you. And not to mention underrated Goddess Sheva, an African teammate sided with you the entire game.
They also ignored the grim truth of the game that the virus is so advanced that zombies can use weapons and guns BSAA, Chris, and Sheva have to endure that ordeal
Another point to add is Chris and Leon don't enjoy shooting infected people. I believe Leon and the other protagonist still have nightmares about their experiences. They would help someone who's not infected or infected but still conscious. They won't gun down conscious civilians. What is so hard to understand there lol.
A point I would add is re4 you killed a lot of Spanish people with a Mexican dialect. So an American demolishing zombies nobody bats an eye. But re5 and l4d had these dumb controversies. Like even if they aren't zombies think about the logic here is a ww2 game magically now racist because the war on Japan. Like what statment was even being made. Re5 wasn't making statments. At most it said rural areas can easily be made sick.
They actually don't have nightmares about events in previous games. That was a new addition they put into the remakes. Chis doesn't even get any form of PTSD until resident evil 6.
As a black guy the only bad things about RE5 was Sheva's AI, Jill's reveal come one we all saw that coming from a mile away!, and that bug thing that could 1-hit you even if you removed one of it's arms, God that thing was annoying! Other than that me and my buddy had a ball playing together.
Agreed! Only thing I found eyebrow raising was the screaming about being a "white man killing blacks" (Ignoring obvious their zombies and it's kill or be kill! But then this is being argued by idiots COUNTING on "Protected People" angle to make the defense for them!) yet nothing about "White man killing spaniards" in RE4! This is sadly why Black People rarely show up in video games made by the Japanese! Same with Anime, ETC! It's because their scared of being accused of being ignorant and racist by fake ass POS like the asshole who started that "RE5 is racist" to begin with when the game came out! It was obvious the POS was of the "using past history and shit to get their way and don't give a DAMN about the people they CLAIM they're looking out for" crowd that are becoming more and more obvious everytime they come out of the woodworks and as a black man it grinds my gears that they do this! Very telling when this crowd got around to the "Racism" more with RE5 once Let's Players videoed themselves reaching the "latter half of the game" ("The villagers" in grass skirts) showing they never even bothered to play the game and Capcom mixed in white africans SPECIFICALLY to cover that later stuff up (cause even THEY knew these's charlitans are too lazy and reach for the lowest hanging fruit! Which is why their only catching on to the later parts of the game for "fuel for their arguements of racism" because other people "did the work for them of showing it!") Still remember I was playing with a british kid of 12 in co-op! He was talking alot on his mic and actually asked me (who was using text, this was back on the PS3) why it feels so racist going through that section.....I just told him via Text what Yathzee said about that "Capcom aren't racists, their fucking idiots" without the "F word!" Que the kid laughing his ass off to that comment. Because it kind of was true! Capcom didn't know how to respond to that shitshow so they did what they could try to do! Honestly didn't bother me, did raise an eyebrow, but more in a "that's new" manner before I went back to playing the game as I was doing! Feels like that's the point! They want to turn Africa and black people into a sacred protect racist so when someone has a bright idea for a good story hook and idea! They can scream racism if it's from a popular company and making the rounds to get some attention and look self-important! And everyday I wait for the good day when these's assholes ticket finally gets punched and they fall into obscurity and become those crazy loud mouths you see trying to sell you a "Doomsday conspiracy" in or around the subway that you do your best to "not attract their attention I hope Karma is harsh and quick with them
Sheva's AI wasn't terrible, it's just that she burns through ammo very fast so she runs around trying to melee punch enemies. This is why she becomes god-tier when you give her sniper rifle with infinite ammo, because she's super accurate and never runs out of ammo. Capcom fixed this AI issue in RE6 by just having your AI partner have infinite ammo.
There is an old interview with an employee of capcom when the original re5 came out and he is black and basically said "so what if it's in Africa it's taken place in america in Europe in asia it's only naturally you will see black people in Africa" somthint along those lines.
People tried to claim that RE5 was "problematic" back when they dropped the first trailer for it when it originally came out. This isn't a new claim. The only difference is if they did remake it, they'd REEEE it from the rooftops
Leon was even following the law at the beginning of the game he was being escorted by the Spanish police and he even tried to make conversation with the very first plaga infected person before shooting them.
Granted they rectify that in remake by making him speak Spanish, actually apologizing for barged in, and has more justifiable reason after seeing one of the cop's bloody badge
It's not just in gaming...it's in everything. Maybe its time to start pushing back and get this neo Marxist ideology out of everything. The source of this cancer is universities by the way.
I seem to remember there being a few "Resi 5 is racist" articles back when the first trailer dropped in 2007 so Capcom added some white people into the enemy population before the game shipped.
@@GuyRP82 yeah I mean if they race swapped RE 5, I wouldn't have any issues destroying entire villages of zombie potato eaters.... Especially their fat, gross women.
welll the high difference its that USA not has the most CLEAN history whit a lot of countries, i would like to see a RESIDENT EVIL IN MEXICO but not a USA guys acting like heroes, if theres a RESIDENT EVIL in MEXICO i want MEXICAN people as the protagonist, not a rednecks screaming AMERICA..AMERICA.
bcoz its white killing white, does it matter? difference case here, there are correct double standards. also in re 6 they dont portray chinese as barbarian , they have cities etc and infected. that's why it's different. but in re5 africa is literally depicted as hell there and 1 man sort it out like the racist hollywood movies
@@yelenapivovarova China, like Chicago, is an over-industrialized urban hellscape. The setting is different, because they’re different in the real world. Pendejo.
resident evil taking place in different parts of the world shows how a umbrella's influence not only stopped at raccoon city but made it's way across the world , so it makes sense to have people of different cultures and color be shown in the games.
Was going to write this. RE does not discriminate, in fact It's pretty inclusive how the games are set around the world. I think these journalists are smoking something.
@@gozutheDJ "Remaking Resident Evil 5 also risks resurrecting a difficult PR nightmare from Capcom’s past regarding RE5’s setting, protagonist, and the enemies he faced." If you Google Resident Evil 5 remake nearly every article mentions this.
A bit late on this but some corrections regarding RE. Umbrella hardly had anything to do with what happened in RE5 or RE7. In RE5 it was Tricell which is largely led by Wesker and Excella (I think that was her name) And in RE7 it was The Connections.
It's sorta like HYDRA and SHIELD in Winter Soldier. In a similar way HYDRA went underground by infiltrating SHIELD, Umbrella went into hiding by leading Tricell from the shadows.
Thanks for making this video. As a Spaniard, I've had this same argument/issue with people crying "RACISSMO" at RE5. They don't care about anything but the colour of peoples' skin. All they do is confirm their own shallow, reactionary mentalities.
Yeah, she could've made a run for it when she saw how bad things were. And yet she didn't. She stuck through to the end. That's something worthy of respect.
you calling out how Mexico isnt in too many games i really appreciate that bro. The most recent game I can think of is the new Modern Warfare 2. That made me so happy when a part of the campaign takes place in Mexico with Mexican characters that was so exciting and fun. They also did it in such an educational way I really do hope more games do that.
If I remember right, in RE5 there are also journal entries from the African villagers, showing the situation from their perspective before they were infected and that they were in fact rational and peaceful people. Not that you need that to justify the setting, but it's there.
i am black and i can say that RE5 is NOT racist. not that my comment means anything but, RE5 zombos were just victim of Wesker. its a sad thing really. The tribal zombies in the underground ruins are badass though. Also Sheva is a waifu btw, why is she NOT in more REs??????
Theres something unsettling about hearing a white woman say Sheva isnt black enough.. Being super woke has a funny way of circling back around to being near racist again.
Why are modern game journalist so incredibly woke and annoying? Also I hope 5 gets remade it's my favorite in the series. Also capcom is one of the best devs, especially since they aren't woke like other studios
Because they are lazy and bored and have nothing to stand on so they do this to try an feel something. Its sad, but I lack pity for it the more they double down on this crap.
This has legit been an argument since the game came out. I remember rolling my eyes at it then too. You find notes within the game that explain how after becoming infected the villagers became feral and began donning ancestral garb. The original came out right at the start of the "socially enlightened " movement.
Listen, here. If we are getting a RE game set in Mexico, I expect the full menu: zombies in big ass sombreros and ponchos screaming "ay!" when you shoot them, zombie donkeys and zombie abuelitas wielding chanclas. This Mexican wants to see proper representation!
How about in Mexico city, and at some point there'd be a level/stage in a ruins of the aztecs. A Boss inspired by one or two of the Mexican Mythology/urban legend. Also you can play as Leon or Chris, and he fights a dog boss which reminded him of the dog from spain
I would love to see Finnish infected when Umbrella causes shenanigans in Finland. Describe everything as it should be, to the last detail. Nobody here would be angry or call it racist. This godamn America CRT spawned weirdness is insufferable.
Hopefully this gives Capcom even more incentive to remake 5 and give it the same treatment they did with 4. I'd love to what they could do with a 5 remake.
The one iconic moment I'd love to see remade is the arrival of Delta Team. It's got everything to satisfy everyone. It establishes horror and danger as it's discovered Kirk didn't make it either being killed in the crash or killed by majini. The survival element is introduced with the motorbikes and Chris and Sheva having to fight back but getting overwhelmed. Then incomes the action with the sharpshooters. There's even something for the "journalist" seeing as Josh is a native African (with an accent) but he also outranks Chris and Sheva he also comes to their rescue 2 more times showing proficient skills each time.
This game made me love RE, it was the first game in the series I played and I loved. Also I'm from Africa in case anyone wants to know some areas of the game resemble a few rural areas out here. Its more terrifying in real life than in the game due to the really high crime rates
I hope the Japanese devs for the RE5 remake use these articles as a morale and enthusiasm boost to create a great remake of a good game, just to see U.S. gaming journalists reactions
@@hudysonsestari8228 Well you thought wrong. You were complicit enough to buy garbage like 're3-remake' - Whats another remake like re5 going to matter when its made. Re5 remake ftw..!
@@onojioboardwalk9748 I didn't buy RE3 remake though, I know that game was butchered compared to the original, but my point about RE5 remain, a simple remaster of RE5 would do the trick, a remake won't provide better gameplay or graphics, but I could be wrong, it's just my opinion anyway.
@@hudysonsestari8228 .. No you actually made it clear that you have at least a moral-compass - GOOD-deicions should take precedence in peoples work and lives rather than just shitting-out some redump or being so arrogant as to actually pay money for it instead of demanding better - Thats not an 'Opinion' you made there. The ones who obsessively buy EVERY remake of any game without question are addicted to their opinions, Thats just their opinion they went with and its full of shame, If they even had the sense for it.
@@hudysonsestari8228 its not about graphic IMO. its about the trust issue regarding is it gonna loyal to the original or not which all remake technically didn't do. RE4R even goes as far as changing certain lore which i dislike. in term of graphic and gameplay, i am positive it will be pretty good seeing how good RE4R really is, but if we talk about the lore itself, i really doubt it. i rather they should just make another new resident evil rather than remake TBH. beside the main numbering, there used to be ton of spin off from another perspective which also are good RE games IMO (Not you umbrella corps).
As A Black guy The first resident evil game a played was resident evil 5 after playing it over and over again, racism never crossed my mind. Plus my mom brought me this game and I was only 15 playing this game. Also, my mom is a big fan of resident evil movies
This is why I’m afraid they won’t remake 5. I think a 5 remake absolutely needs to happen so they can properly complete the main story with 5 like they should have done originally.
Can anyone tell me if they are going to remake the first part? I Googled like crazy and I found remastered version, but I do not understand why they do not do the first one. I never played the series but I do intend to play
If there is one game in the series that NEEDS a remake it is 6. When I say remake I don't mean a 1 to 1 remake either. I mean top to bottom remake the whole things. Just make a completely different game.
Sir, you are so wrong and I am highly offended... This "RE6 is butt-cheeks" slander is not something I can abide by, the game is a blast and no one can change my mind lol
Jornalist: "He's gunning down black people" Capcom: "Yes, because the game is set in Africa. And those are infected, they're not themselves anymore. Also his partner is a strong native-african woman." Jornalist: "Yes, but it's still racist tho" Capcom: "Wouldn't it be racist if the enemies were all white? IN AFRICA?" Jornalist: "I'll give you a pass because the main villains are white. But do some unrealistic over the top shit so everybody knows it's fiction and not based on the real world. Do something like, I don't know, the main character punches a giant boulder or something."
For years my brother and I joked about Chris saying things that imply racism, but fit the context of the situation. Sheva's in for a loop every time he does it.
One of the few amusing things my ex-wife said was when she pretended to speak for Sheva (accent and all) when I was grabbing gems and money out of the crypts in the ancient ruins. "Excuse me, you're stealing all my country's treasures."
Some people might not noticed that the infected inhabitants of Kijuju are not just African, but also Asian, European, and Arabic (racial diverse). The playable protagonists are not just "white" person, but also Sheva and Josh which are African (local) - which is lacking in some other RE games. Chris & friends don't say sarcastic / mocking lines / joke when killing infected locals as Leon do in RE 4 Remake (although non-racial lines). On the contrary, Sheva said things about fighting for her people, and show concern / sadness when knowing that the Tribal people are also infected. Also RE 5 theme is about partnership / trust, and protection - regardless race, and showing betrayals among the antagonists. So RE 5 can actually be see as less "racist", or morally better than some other RE games. What make some people see RE 5 as racist is because black and white racism is more "trending" than other racism. Btw, white killing white doesn't counts because it's not a "racial versus".
This is absolutely ridiculous. I had a feeling that something like this will happen. These people cannot be satisfied. They'll just ask for more. And they're now targeting TV show Friends
As a young African-American black man i do not see the racism in this game especially seeing how we can kill every other race and color and not say a thing till its about us we as African American need to learn not talk we a proud race not ignorant so this is all ridiculous and I hope they continue to keep making the remakes cuz I love all the residents evil remakes shout out to you guys
@Ish Drip appease them? Like why did we have segregation in the first place? For attitudes like us vs them. Like what did Mandela teach ya'll? He didn't get out of prison to fight with the white guy. He forgave him became president and lived to 97
7:28 Capcom is aware of this when Sheva and Chris lament on how these people were infected as well, showing that they sympathize with them, and how you get this sense that they'd really rather not have to do this.
Jill also sympathized with the infected in the original RE3 when she stopped Mikhail from taking out his anger on the zombies telling him something along the lines of they are victims as much as they are monsters because it was umbrella who made them into monsters it wasn't thier choice in a cutscene.
@@Raccon_Detective. You're correct. RE never wants you to feel the zombies are evil, because they aren't. Like when Marvin turns into a zombie, it's a genuine moment of sadness and horror, especially if you take the time to kill him, and Leon and Claire display unease in the remake.
@@Raccon_Detective. Yes, but don't underestimate stupidity of people, not just "wokes" but the other side as well. They were having meltdown over Jill being "feminist" because she was hostile towards Carlos at first, even tho it's super obvious she didn't trust him at first because he was working for Umbrella (UBCS), but she later eases up when she realizes both Mikhael and Carlos are actually trying to save people. Also, someone mentioned Marvin, I've heard some bigger streamers mention they hate how Marvin just shows up as zombie without any cutscene or anything, but I think that's one of the best moments. It shows that guy you knew just ends up being another faceless monster you have to kill.
As an african i really wanted to play the re5 when it released thinking it cool that we finally got a make where the whole "zombi" trend (as it is originally called) came from. I hope that is what they will play into in the remake, it would be so coooool!❤
Agreed! More people should know The parasite controlled enemies in the Resident Evil games are the true zombies according to the original zombie myth which came from Africa.
@@dkirby9052 originally zombies were people being mind controlled by things like drugs or spells to basically be slaves, reanimated dead bodies didn't get the name zombie until the 70s or 80s even in the original night of the living dead they were called ghouls and there was a movie kind of like it before it (can't remember what it's called) that had what we call zombies but in it they were called vampires
I havent played RE5 in a long time but from what I remember I thought the whole premise of it or at least what I thought was going to happen was that there was going to be countless companies like Umbrella all over the world experimenting with their own virus which would lead us all over to the world.
They already foreshadowed they are remaking 5 at the end of the 4 remake. The cutscene with Wesker and Ada is him discussing Ouroboros. They are 100% making it...
Concerning the tribal swampland section, there's a text you can read where one of the natives documented how the injections were slowly turning the tribe more violent and savage and specificly said that they started wearing the ceremonial grass skirts despite it not being part of the festive days, therefore they didn't originally dress like that, they only reverted to a more primitive state of mind. Afterall, towards the end the zombies start using guns and machinery like Las Pelagus did towards towards RE4 and the African tribals were simply the equivalent to the occult monks that used medieval weaponry and equipment in RE4 also.
Actually as a Romanian I have to say that statement you made is completly utterly wrong. We are werewolves and 9 foot tall goth mommies. And we are murerous but the people in Craiova are more.

I’m glad that capcom has been giving its legacy series more attention lately. I personally love that after years of cancellation after cancellation they’ve brought mega man back with some new games and all the legacy collections, I’m super ecstatic that they’re even doing legacy collection for some of the more obscure games like the battle network series, and I’m hoping they do the same for the star force series.

@@nickm5419 It doesn't matter if the Japanese audience doesn't like woke content. Western audiences mostly hate woke content as well. This is about investor agendas, such as Blackrock's ESG scoring. Lately many big Japanese Media companies have been 'adapting' their content to fit 'global standards'. This is prevalent in Sony titles, Square Enix (see FF7 remake vs. original for example, and the atrocity that is Forspoken), Capcom (Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, etc.), Pokémon, and many other games where they've applied censorship and/or changed male and feminine shapes to amorphous genderless blobs. Some companies like Square Enix have openly talked about these changes in investor meets and interviews.
I hope RE5 does get a remake. Sheva was a great character that seems to have been completely forgotten by Capcom. To the point that she is the only main character not to make an appearance on any other games or media in the RE universe.
They got hit with racism accusations all the way back then (when the woke cycle was just getting started). I blame them for pushing Capcom to distance themselves from RE5.
The fact that you had to explain these things despite them being painfully obvious to any normal person really makes me wonder where Video Game Journalists come from.
I live in germany. in 2015 my school had a project week with all kinds of things. in the school auditorium was a powerpoint running with slides that depicted "racism" in modern media. one slide was Resident Evil 5 , it was just one screenshot of chris shooting at enemies at the first big fight with the executioner. It had one sentence as a description "white hero shoots black enemies" . I wish i made a photo of that presentation back then. Obviously the slide forgot to mention that you also have white enemies , an african WOMÄÄÄÄN as a main/playable character , white main antagonists , and that the game actually portraits the exploitation of the natives in the swamp area by the big medical corporation , which is probably owned by whites. But the truth is : if you develop any thoughts about race and/or racism while playing a videogame that is about a zombie-outbreak and features a guy that punches a giant rock out of his way, there is something wrong with you.
So bizarre, I played this game as a young teen and not once did I think anything was racist. It takes place in Africa for crying out loud, there are black people there
I remember just before the release of RE:5 that capcom felt pressured into adding white zombies in order not to appear racist, I rolled my eyes then at that am I roll my eyes at this article for trying the same nonsense again.
I'm black and I say re 5 was TOTALLY NOT RACIST!!!! I put so many hours into that game it's got to add up to at least 2 years of play time. I want this game to be remade more than I wanted re 4 to be remade. Straight up yo!!!
@@johndodo2062 They talk about it because usually the company in question (Make no mistake, Crapcom is one of them) bends over like a Hungarian swimmer.
If you play through the first area in RE5 the villagers are surprisingly non aggressive. They’ll just walk around waving sticks if you don’t attack them, actually did make me feel a bit bad when playing it originally.
@@kelvingriffiths6017 bruh they hadnt tturned yet,the scene of a dude being beaten in a sack? thats just another tue down there lol, thats why they hate it cause it was an accurate depiction and they are ashamed
