poor bakers, they had a really bad luck meeting that monster, at least they are in peace now, lets hope they will explain what type of virus/bacteria fungus was that
Yea I feel bad for her too. Who knows how long she was a lab test subject ? All she wanted was a family but as old as she was and with her being a monster she couldn't have any children. So she made due with what she had. Too bad she was also a crazy monster. Then again she was made that way, so is she really to blame? The poor bakers too.
I like how in the beginning, Zoe advises you to go to the attic to escape, then in the ending you end up fighting Eveline in the same attic and you end up getting pulled out the attic.
Aztellas Studios That's not the only important question. Why in the living hell the chopper has Umbrella Corp labeled all over it? Umbrella is supposed to be a terrorist organization, not a rescue team.
Santiago Vásquez Gómez Still odd I must admit. I mean you have Neo-Umbrella which is a Terrorist Organization, but then you have Umbrella Corporation from the old games. Maybe they started a new company with the same name and symbol, but that would still be controversial due to the stuff Umbrella has done in the past, hence the Corporation that has done illegal and shady business like build BOWs and Viruses.
Obviously things happened in the timeskp between 6 and 7 and we'll find out as the series goes on. Since Chris is with them it's certain the new Umbrella is nothing like the old.
it's not Chris it hunk I think small face as hunk has in the umbrella chronicles, plus umbrella had different branches the logo on the helicopter is the same as what's on hunks team and branch there patches have the dna in 3 of the triangles.
just beat it after 3 days, it starts out scary original resident evil, and slowly progresses into re 6. it's a cool game, I just wish it would have tied in more to the RE universe, I mean no Leon? Ada? Helena, for God's sake, if it's going to be a spin-off from the main series at least call it Resident Evil: A New Beginning or something.
Ethan: "Mia, you're okay. We can finally start over." Chris: "Oh no no no. She took part in an illegal bioweapon designed to be sold on the black market to terrorist organizations. Her ass is going to prison."
I honestly feel kinda bad for Eveline. She was raised to be a weapon & then her mind deteriorated because her mutations weren't properly maintained (which wasn't even her fault). All she wanted was a happy family like all kids do, but became so warped that she thought she had to kill to get one. You don't normally think of how the bioweapons in RE feel but I really felt bad for Eveline
Yeah I also felt pretty damn bad for Eveline. Despite all the terrible things she did, she was just a kid. Even if she deserved to die, she didn’t deserve what lead up to that.
Anyone else is sad about that resident evil 7 has nothing in relationship with all resident evil series..its a whole differrent with no old characters like leon chris ada..i kinda love them more
Damien it wasnt Chris Redfield, its just a guy named Redfield.Redfield is more muscled action guy not just a tiny guy,he works for american bsaa and not for umbrella, why he would be in an umbrella helicopter
Gabrielzinho Well, Lucas was the only evil Baker who actually had control over what he was doing. Even as a child Lucas was evil, like the note that you can find where it says that Lucas trapped his friend in the attic and kept him there. Lucas was infected with the virus, but he had full control over what he did.... So basically, he's an asshole
I'm so glad that the developers chose the Mia ending as the main ending because that's what sets the game apart from all other survival horror games . All other survival horror games are quite plain and simple really, you fight for your survival while undergoing a very thrilling and horror experience and if there is a secondary main character there's a slim chance they may survive and even if they do the games don't make it seem too rewarding and refreshing of a experience and it seems like those typical horror/thriller classics and these type of plot have kinda worn themselves out over the last few years. I say this is the main ending because that's what the DLCs based on and the DLCs start off where the main story left .Why would you choose Zoe when the intention throughout the whole game was to check on your lost wife who's been missing for three years? .Mia and Zoe dying at the end after all that makes you feel like "WTF is the point of all this struggle if Ethan's intent was to rescue and see what was Mia upto for the last three years in the first place?". And lets say even if someone happened to cure Zoe the ending should have been all of them dying(including Ethan at the very end) because curing Zoe and then watching both Mia and Zoe die and to be the lone survivor just makes you feel like any other survival horror game and it leaves a very unrewarding and bad taste imo.
their family didn't deserve this none of them did... the scene where he explains how they're not killers really made me fucking tear up i really want to give jack baker a hug i completed this game with a smile on my face knowing that the bakers are at peace now
So I recently finished and my theory is that this is before umbrella corp became the bad guys or before the fact they made the virus was released. So the military division thinks they were simply taking care of another job so to speak. They then move in and then ada creates the new division with the red and black logo
Also clearing things up people say its supposed to take place after re6 but I believe that it takes place before and if it were to take place after it could be a new division of the umbrella corp to where they looked like the heroes when they use your blood to cure the virus and looked even better when saying they came up with it
wtf?, thats impossible, in ALL the games never reveal that Claire and Chris had another brother, i mean, claire only refeers with chris as "my only brother"
All the reviews are praising it highly. The 9/10 review praises the game for being similar the REmake of the first game in it's first half, both on a visual level and a gameplay level, returning to the classic style of survival horror, item management, solving puzzles, and picking and choosing your battles.
In the end we saw an umbrella corps team, this game is linked with umbrella corps and the manga heavenly island, and that "Chris" probably is Hunk or another agent of the Organization The only thing that I don't understand is which virus was infected these people
+Andrew Nguyen Okay, you lost me here. I googled him and got absolutely nothing but random football wiki entries. Either he's a fresh face or Capcom is just plain trolling. Thanks anyway.
Dave Torres ya same here, all the people saying he is Chris, first of all Chris would never work of umbrella, secondly this guy looks NOTHING like Chris.
Well.... the developer team could put a minimum effort to render his face correctly, cuz he looks nothing like Chris, i swear, even when he remove his helmet, i haven't a clue who he was
why would putting "cris" in the credits mean its really him? they just put that there so we dont know who it REALLY is. its obviously not cris, cris is a giant roid freak.
@@surrk1057 The grandma WAS Eveline. When the Bakers took her in 3 years ago when she was a kid she was without her meds so she grew 25 times the rate of a normal person so in those 3 years she aged to be a old woman. She used her mental games to appear in everyone's mind as a kid but when he injected her with the serum the mental hallucinations stopped and he saw her for what she really was.
so much better than 5 and 6. im glad capcom went in this direction and decided to put horror back in RE. For the people that says this is the worst RE ever, just go...like be gone forever
Yes better than 6 especially but by no means the best RE game in the series. It started so well in terms of horror but then it went south with its typical giant boss theme. I get it, the game had to feel and connect to past titles but the developers took it in a direction that almost completely ruined the game for me.
Corey Neukum personally, RE 6 is my favorite. I like because you get to play in a different persons kind of view. ( like you get to see what everybody is going through, and sometime the their story lines collide. For example, Leon and piers made some interaction with sherry and jake. And ada too I think) also, and I wanted to see sherry and jake again because I felt like Thur story wasn't complete. Anyway, that's just my opinion, you feel whatever you wanna feel about the this franchise/series.
Nah, RE 6 was the best. It tied up all the previous ones and gathered almost all the main characters. Even brought back Sherry. Its gameplay was excellent and the horror element was obviously present. It even respected the continuity. This one... Was good, but not better. And what they did to Chris in the end, really fucked up all the storyline.
I feel so bad for the bakers, they were just an innocent family who wanted to help a young girl, they didn’t deserve what happened to them. But I also feel bad for Eveline in a way at the end, you can tell she really just wanted a family to love her. She just wanted a mom and a dad, she didn’t know how to live without her powers.
PC gamer gave this a 90. If a game gets 85+ from PC Gamer you know its not just good, its fucking good. They aint scared to shit on a game franchise. Famitsu gave it a 36/40, another well respected reviewer. The game is awesome, the game passes the feeling of the classics, the expert criticism is praising the game so it seems that CAPCOM got what it wanted and the fans of the classics as well.
Are you deluded? firstly how do you KNOW they took CAPCOMS money? secondly, they shit over MOST AAA titles, look at the Infinite Warfare they rated it 48 (yes I know it was a piece of shit). Activision titles are known for paying reviewers to rate them higher. So because YOU think its shit, reviewers MUST have been paid off to make it look good? haha what an idiot. Thirdly, the general consensus is that the game is praised highly, as I stated Famitsu is well respected, they rate games from 4 different people who play them hence the score out of 40, 0-10 for each of the 4 people who try and they rated it 9/10 each. 100 reviews isn't going to change it haha, are you fucking stupid? these aren't just reviews from critics/reviewers, they are from gamers too, and if they are getting praised by a MULTITUDE of people then it has to be true. Have you seen the Steam reviews? right now it's OVERALL: Very Positive (1,058 reviews) The game is great end of story, we just live in an era or self entitled, whiny, cry babies who think they are owed the world and can't appreciate a good game when it comes along, you're clearly one of them. I bet you're young and never even played the original on the PS1. i guarantee you haven't even played through RE7, you have watched a few videos and made up your mind with a weak pathetic attempt to slander the game. People like you make me laugh, it's quite frankly pathetic, mad at the world because you are a failure in life so you take it out on everything.
Jack Lake Just let it be, don't think he will listen. RE seems to change styles after 3 games. RE 1 to 3, 4 to 6 (over the shoulder), and now re7. By this trend Capcom will change again in RE10. At that time either he will know what it feels like seeing a style you like get crapped on or he will join the new generation playing it. Who knows Capcom might use a style we like (you and I since from your comment we share the same view on this game) and he will hate. But oh well, time will tell. In the meantime I will wait for the next RE that has a style I like. I can always RU-vid the game to keep up with the story and no need to buy it.
I agreed that this game is cool but Famitsu is a shitty reviewer that cannot be trust, highly biased towards japanese games (fr example they gave shitty game like Final Fantasy 13 39/40).
El Dela Cruz Umbrella corps is not resident evil. Operation is way better then this game for sure and has multiplayer. And I never got far on 6 but it's not bad at all.
RE6 wasn't bad, you must've never played the old titles with the crappy controls and even worse graphics. It was very slow and and there was a lot of pacing. Not every game in the series is gonna be RE 4 or 5
After all he went through he still trusts her enough to get back into a relationship? I wouldn't of been surprised to find him suffering paranoia and PTSD after all that crap.
Yup. Had a perfect amount of horror and action. I really enjoyed it, also gave me the feeling I got from RE4! by that I mean it was something new and innovative. Especially what they did with VR.
I love how after all this, 2 minutes of a cutscene makes you feel extremely sympathetic for the Bakers- Except Lucas- and surprisingly Jack sounds sympathetic for Eveline as well, but knows she needs to be put down.
Resident evil 7 must be the scariest game in resident evil history because it is first personal view Edit: first personal view horror game is what scare me the most in all horror games
This can't be Chris in the end. Why the hell would Chris want to get mixed up with Umbrella or whatever's left of it? It's some dude pretending to be him so he could earn Ethan's trust. Maybe it's Hunk for all we know. EDIT: Okay, I just saw the end credits, it does say Chris Redfield. WTF is going on here? Why is he with Umbrella?
But why would an anti-Umbrella group call itself "Umbrella Corporation"? And why would Ethan get into an Umbrella chopper when their role in BOW-terrorism is public knowledge.
It is heavily impied that this incarnation of the Umbrella Corps. is not the old evil one. The logo of the original Umbrella is the Red-over-White crosses. And then there was a Neo-Umbrella corp in 6, and their logo is basically the old one with blue and white instead. Here, however, the logo is a white Bolnisi cross over a blue one, with a star in the centre. The white cross is also decorated by ribbons evocative of the double helix of DNA. If you ask me that seems like a "heroic" version of umbrella.
Will Ferrous it's hunk not Chris, also the symbol with the dna is part of one of umbrellas other teams and branches one that hunk is leader of if you look at his and his teams shoulder patches on there uniform there umbrella symbol has the dna in it, this is a faction of umbrella, as we all know umbrella is truly never gone, they had facilities all over the world, also they weren't the only part as tri cell was also one on the original manufacturer's at that point of finding the progenitor virus they were partners with umbrella,
Cool detail I just found after beating madhouse mode for the first time, the “VIL” highlighted in the logo, burns red if you manage to beat on hard. Neat.
This shit left me with so many answered questions but more questions as well, the writing was great but also confusing, my feelings towards jack and his family completely changed when I saw that scene and I felt incredibly bad for him but what of Lucas? Is he now a wanted bio terrorist? And the third party he was talking to? I NEED TO KNOW Also I love how this ends in the same place where it all began since the demo
Holy shit this guy has the bravest balls to finish this game omg But the ending was like power rangers big boss and all Btw I have huge respect for u sir
I would have enjoyed the ending more if it ended with Eveline saying "Why does everyone hate me?" and then dying quietly and sadly, instead of turning into a nearly unfailable boss fight.
Funny that people in this comment section think it's the actual Chris lol ''Fans'' has probably never played RE games before. Not you AFGuidesHD im talking about the comments
a Chris Redfield clone will not be a bad start to take the role for a new protagonist for the series, Chris and Leon is getting old and its almost time to retire them.
Scorpion44- _ why chris is almost 50 and leon is in his mid 40s. Alot fans who played 6 agreed that if they don't reboot the series you will need to retire the characters somehow thats how you evolve the series and to keep it moving forward. Who the fuck wants to play a senior Chris/senile Leon? Make clones of them or spiritual successors of them to replace them, they made clone characters in the series before they can do it again.
Scorpion44- _ imagine playing a 60 year old chris no wants to play with the dude because he too old to do anything besides being a director of bsaa or head of bsaa. Either reboot the series or bring clones of them/spiritual successors to them to take over.
Mario Sanon I can agree that Chris is old but I still want Chris to make an appearance every game since he was here ever since the beginning. As example for next game you don't have to play as Chris but u get orders from him since he is now in the umbrella corporation
Scorpion44- _ he can make appearance in every game just as a mentor role to the new successors. chris should do one more game that focus on him leon and Jill. And finally reveal if Jill and Chris are married or not
I'm so glad that the developers chose the Mia ending as the main ending because that's what sets the game apart from all other survival horror games .
