Yeah, I’m like the only one who was happy with Ethan’s choice. “Screw using Rose as a weapon, show me those hands Heisenberg!” I got chills when Ethan went commando
I don't wanna be that guy but having an army and a metal controlling friend + 2 tanks could have been a great help for the finale encounter with miranda
@@cae2212 Eh, Ethan did alright. We all knew he wasn’t making it out of that village to begin with. Plus, Heisenberg would have been a threat after Miranda anyway, something people are forgetting. He wanted Rose to deal with Miranda sure, but he even stated he was gonna use her to gain even more power. Also, no father wants to hear some crazy hobo talk about using their infant daughter as a weapon against mold monsters that may or may not cost everyone their lives.
I think it was just Ethan's feelings about using Rose as a weapon that made him refuse Heisenberg's proposition but let's be real if Heisenberg was going to sacrifice Rose to defeat Miranda I believe he would tell Ethan right of the Bat instead he said "use" not "sacrifice" or "destroy" and remember that Miranda was a shapeshifter for all we knew she could be disguised as Chris inciting us to kill our only possible ally against her. Having a guy who could control metal as an ally or as a foe it's just kinda expected you'd want him as your ally. Also i recommend you see an animatic called "dangerous" resident evil 8 where they clearly show what would happen if Heisenberg took his job of killing Ethan seriously. Thank you for reading all the way to the end ;)
@@FrostMan-mt6cc You make some good points although, Chris never wanted Ethan to fight Heisenberg. Instead he said, “stay off the radar.” The mobile weapon was just a precaution to help Ethan escape. It’s also never stated that Heisenberg was planning on sacrificing Rose. My point is, no one knew what could potentially happen. That’s a little girl who is just as confused about all this as everyone else. Her brain isn’t even fully developed. Who knows what would happen if they “used” her. Miranda was scared of her because even she didn’t know. As a father, Ethan made the right call. Heisenberg could not be allowed to live. After all this is over, who’s to say he won’t continue his psychopathic research? He even says in game, “with the strength of Rose I will become more powerful!” That’s not something any father wants to hear.
Miranda: I am the best mother ever, I would search the world over to bring my daughter back! MP: I would give up my own flesh so that my child may become a god, your move moldy.
1. The horse dying when he gets out of the carriage 2. Lady D making blood starved beast noises 3. The baby causing frenzy 4. The moon presence responding with the correct bell chime 5: uncle hunter what happened? S Q U I D G A M E
@@TheGodQuac Correction: You have a vague hint of what's going on, but to piece them all into a coherent timeline is intrinsically impossible I have had over 200 hours of playing the game and only learn the complete lore by reading Redgrave's note
Love how heisinberg and the Hunter actually do the team up. That did seem to be more likely. They both had the same goal and there wasn’t the thing about Rose being used as a weapon in this version.
Heisenberg's character appearance is literally based off of Gascoigne, and the Hunter can team up with Gascoigne for the Cleric Beast- this is actually very fitting that the two hit it off XD (Plus, Heisenberg is a good Hunter himself- he can two-hand and one-hand his hammer easily)
@@dagrazytcom5492 Well spoilers for bloodborne then Moon Presence is an old great cosmic entity that is essentially responsible for the Hunter's power, it never let's them die and provide's them shelter and sanctuary from the horrific monsters they have to fight. _It's also vaguely implied that it sees the Hunter as its surrogate child or something._ -(Theres ALOT more to it then that but I'm not gonna go making making an essay and bombarding strangers with a text wall they'll never read)-
@@kigurumi1624 however 90% of fanfiction is sexually explicit/nonsensical crossover/genderbent garbage, so if one exists without any of the above, that'd be the holy grail.
I can't help but notice that at the beginning when Mother Miranda flies off, you can distinctly hear the whispering sound used in Bloodborne. Almost like Ethan gained insight from his exposure to Miranda's true form.
Damm how could the good hunter open the door to the castle this fast? I only recall the hunter as a person who likes to open things in a very dramatic fashion.
@@minimoltieposmt215 they turned into the slug like great one form the player does at the end of the 'true' ending, which means they had to have munched on some umbilical cords lol
1:36 is genuinely the most epic thing I have ever seen. The silhouette of Moon Presence soundlessly descending from the blood red moon, with only a gentle bell ring in response. You know shit's boutta go down.
1:42 "Hey Mom, come kick this woman's ass for me, please!" No, but seriously, I loved the expressions and exaggerated movements in this, it was so fun to watch.
Ethan in RE8: Living a nightmare. The Bloodborne Hunter in RE8: A normal tuesday at work. By the way, when he pulled out the bell I thought he was just going to summon a gank squad of players on Miranda.
The perfect combination! After beating Village I promptly created Heisenberg in Bloodborne and it's been so fun going around with the Boom Hammer which I snagged as soon as I could from the Hunter's Nightmare!
When the hunter fired the cannon and tiddy vampire lunged, I knew what was coming. But hearing the riposte sound made my spine tingle. Bloodborne really is like a drug
Ya know, if you think about it, putting the Good Hunter in Resident Evil is kinda like putting Doom Guy in Hell. In other words, an absolute slaughter Edit: People are actually arguing if the Hunter is actually strong enough for RE? This guy has the ability to summon star fragments as homing missiles lmao
The entirety of RE8: a slow methodical survival game with spooky elements and one truly horror-themed area emphasising careful approaches and never rushing into danger. Bloodborne: I hate when people underestimitate my fastness.
Nurse: Mr. Redfield, your sisters child… Chris: boy? Girl? Healthy? Nurse: Not sure. We can’t really get a good look down there with all the tentacles and hands. It did throw the doctor halfway across the room with one of its spider legs so I am going to guess healthy? Chris: Wait, does it have its heart on the outside? Nurse: No? Chris: oh okay, whew! This is fine.
Meanwhile in Claire's home... Chris: BEHOLD THE ONE WHO WILL CONTINUE THE BLOODLINE!!!! Hunter squid: *scared flopping noises and concerned remakes on why me* Claire: You want me to, get banged by a squid? Seriously Chris? The roids got to you this had huh? Chris: NO! HES BEEM TURNED INTO ONE BY THIS WEIRD ELDERICH HORROR. NOW BOTH OF YOU DO THE DEED. Hunter squid and Claire now sit in awkward silence while Chris rushes off after Leon for insurance. Hunter squid: He's...always like this? I thought Ethan and Leon where joking. Claire: Nope. It's all true. So.... wanna ditch his plan? Hunter: eh, the nights young. Bring me near that weird lamp and I can explain everything in the dream.
@@averageplayers5288 I saw it more as Omega Weapon from Final Fantasy. In part 8 you fight it in the final dungeon, a castle that kind of looked more like the Spencer mansion.
Fun fact- Heisenberg is based off of Father Gascoigne's appearance. And before you have to fight him, you can team up with Father Gascoigne in bloodborne...
Hate to be that guy but Heisenberg was in fact, not based on Gascoigne, but instead, Doctor Frankenstein. Appearance and all. Gascoigne is just a funny little coincidence.
Well we'll do mighty fine if Sony and fromsoft got off their damn arses and gave the world what it truly wants! Either bloodborne 2 or a bloodborne remake
@@cherrydragon3120 no need for remake tbh. they could just upgrade and optomise it for ps5 and pc. what i want is a bb2 with the far higher quality art and level design from elden ring. although i want bb2 to be slightly open worrld-ish, just not like elden ring.
That is impossible, if they were in the same location Chris would be busy trying to get Leon to continue the Redfield bloodline, they would not care about the mold.
i love his "eff this im calling a proffesional" attitude... also yes he actually couldve gone with heisenbergs plan and hashed out the backstabs later...
@@funkmantim2661 in the timeline bloodborne fits better because dark souls 3 is in a whole different world when bloodborne is about a virus and monsters being killed by using special weapons and guns, just like resident evil.
heisenberg:WHAT!? bloodborne guy: DID WE JUST BECOME BEST FRIENDS? heisenberg:YEP! blood borne guy: DO YOU WANNA SAVE ROSE FROM THAT BITCH MIRANDA? HEISENBERG: YEP!
Yeah, same; Resi8 took an awful lot of, let's call it, "inspiration," from both Bloodborne and Frankenstein's Army. Too bad there's even worse legal quandaries being brought to light, as well...more that such quandaries even happened to begin with (and they seem to have happened as far back as even RE4)...
I love you and the ppl who worked on this animation. Not necessarily for making it, but for the accuracy it has. I can tell that you played Bloodborne quite a bit to get it that accurate. Especially with the horse dying XD
0:34 nice Cainhurst Castle reference. Very appropriate. :p To those who don't know, to get to Cainhurst Castle (the vampire-themed level, not unlike the one in RE8) you have to take a horse-drawn carriage but when you arrive the horses that were pulling it look like they have been dead for years.
I like to think that they just traded jobs for the day and when the Hunter is doing this Ethan is just firing unholy masses of bullets into bloodborne enemies.
