Ethan throws away his mags when you tactical reload in Resident Evil 7. In Resident Evil 8, he says he took military training. Ingame, he saves his mags now. Beautiful attention to detail everywhere in this game.
Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz if you don’t want spoilers then don’t look at this but when you take down Mia in the RE 7 jack says “welcome to the family son”.When he punches and stomps on you die.but since there is mold in Ethans body he is still alive.if your saying wait so shouldn’t he infected.he is but he is in the early stages so he is not controlled by Eveline. Also Eveline wants Ethan as her dad, same goes for Mia.Near the end of the RE 8 when Mother Miranda take your heart out you pass out,but there is mold in his body so he is still alive.
Ethan just can't catch a break. He's been dead for over three years and in that time he's lost both his left and right hand, had his left hand deformed had his foot chopped off.
3:09 Mother Miranda: "Your powers are weak, Ethan!" Ethan: "You can't win, Miranda. If you Strike me down. I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."
Miranda: **Proceeds to use moldy spider legs to physically lift herself higher than Ethan, gaining the high ground** Ethan: *"Aw come on not this shit again-"*
I kinda like how Ethan’s reloads have gotten better since the last game. Kinda shows he’s got some sense of how to handle them now, combined what he may have learned randomly
@@SeraIsFAKE Trigger discipline is when you are careful about when your finger is on the trigger. When you're not actively going to fire it, keep your finger off the trigger.
@@pavelmorozov6599 with th exception of MW:2019. The animations in that game are very nicely done and the attention to detail is great. I say this as someone who's taken rifle, handgun and shotgun courses, owns 7 guns and shoots them all frequently
@@youtuber12148 Fast =/= "sporty". When your life depends on how fast you can top off your weapon, I'm sure you won't be fumbling around and going slow either.
The _animation_ for these had an average joe in mind unlike MW:2019 which makes it feel more natural. Ethan may not have had the training of Chris Redfield but that's exactly what's make him more badass, his adaptability is insane
@@tinyprince I think they're fine, I honestly like and think they're better than the RE7 animations. Although, the only gripe is have with them is the relatively bad sound design, and how dull it sounds. The only weightless animations I see are for the dlc/unlockable weapons in the game that aren't from your first playthrough.
You people can only criticize games instead of rating them fairly. The game looks good enough. If it's not for you then create a game for yourself which is so realistic that it will blow your mind.
It will never cease to annoy me that the animator put enough detail so that Ethan loads a shotgun shell directly into the chamber, but STILL has Ethan pump it after loading the other shells.
The animation for the shell load directly into the chamber is use when you are out of ammo in the gun but you still spamming the fire button so that when Ethan loads a shotgun shell directly into the chamber he will fire it immediately without pumping it so I think this is the programer fault lol.
True, but hey this game was done by Japanese developers and citizens can't legally possess guns in Japan. I think they still did a good job despite not being able to have the direct knowledge of a gun.
@@BluXrCist actually, Japanese citizens can purchase firearms. though the process of being able to buy one is long, arduous, and tiresome. even then they're restricted to only a select few types like shotguns and air guns.
@FBI I'm sure they did. But just watching videos isn't direct knowledge bro. You can't just watch a vid and learn how to reload a shotgun correctly without actually holding the damn thing.
If you notice, the shotguns empty reload consist of: Loading a shell directly into the chamber, loads the magazine tube, and then pumps the shotgun. Which would eject the shell that's already in the chamber However, it's still amazing they add tactical and empty reloads to the game
If i were to guess play testers were like "why didnt ethan load one in the chamber" and then capcom was like "Mf where do you think the first shell went" So they probably settled with detailed but inaccurate
As long as new FPS games don’t outright copy the MW style lol. Gonna look unoriginal and bland if every shooter nowadays follows that exact style of animation
@ Don't forget Khoa Lee and the rest of the animation team! Hyper is a fantasic animator but it takes alot of work to make a whole roster of guns feel and look that good!
@@Suutari4 in terms of popularity? Definitely. But mechanics and animation wise COD was a fucking trainwreck after Modern Warfare 3. It was only MW2019 that really raised the bar
Better graphic is because of their Re Engine, they keep improving it after Re7 which was the first game made on Re Engine. Look at DmC 5, realistic yet so anime at the same time. Reload quality is pretty much the same to me, i mean it's not bad, just with inspirations from mw2019.
I know RE's focus isn't exactly gun play, but I think they could've improved sound design on these just a liiiiittle bit. Still, the animations are cool.
I just love how people are like oh these reload animations suck or oh they were inspired by mw2019 and then theres me who's just like "dude hes reloading" like it's nothing special
@@elite_danish850 Eh, Cold War's are very... Elastic, exact, robotic and unnatural for the most part. In RE8 they feel a lot less robotic than that, at least for the most part
I love how he’s using his left thumb to release the slide after he puts in the mag instead of trying to use his shooting hand like most people do. Smart tactical reload
They are definitely nice and a step in the right direction. I gotta say though idk how they messed up the pump action shotgun reloads like that, putting on in the chamber then pumping anyway. Not a huge fan of the Red Dead Redemption/Hunt Showdown style revolver reloads without an extractor at insane speed. Also kinda wish the animations had more weight instead of feeling like the GTAV first person reloads.
The animations are not too bad(except for the empty shotgun reloads). I just wish the sounds were a bit louder; no weapon sounds that quiet when releasing the slide or pulling a charging handle.
S.T.A.K.E doesn't have a magazine when executing an empty reload(except for the ext. mag empty reload), but there's a mag when doing a reserved reload. Possibly going to be patched in the DLCs?
The fact there are different reload animations of your gun when its empty and when its not so you store the remaining ammo is the little details i really love about this game especially the quick 1 shotgun shell load so you can fire a quick shot.
@@Emiichoco i think z3 meant that mw2019 was the first big fps to make you save your magazines during a tactical reload, and this game does it very similar
I still love how the WCX (MCX) utilizes the SIG Romeo and Juliet optic combo, great brand recognition right there. I also wish we could have gotten to use that KAC M110K1 CSASS that Umber eyes was using.
It just doesn't feel right in my opinion. Best to not hire that guy, this is resident evil, not a call of duty game. Kinda don't like people comparing an arcade shooter game to a horror game.
I really dont get the absalute need to compare every games reload animations to MW19 yeah there nice but kinda to overrated im sorry cod boys i dont get cod mw19 reload animations sorry
@nanda erdhani nice pfp and i mean yeah friend unrealistc reloads but mw reloads are way to fast ive seen people reload an ak47 the way you do in mw and its posiable but a bit to fast thats with all of em (idk if your boy or a girl so friend its sorry if i sound like a jerk) the guns feel like they have no wieght to em i feel like all the cods games are like that
Correct me if I'm wrong but, i believe that if you load a shell through the ejection port it is unnecessary to pump the shotgun again after he is done introducing the shells, wouldn't he be ejecting the shell that was already in the chamber???
I am really surprised to see a Gyrojet gun in a RE game the only game i played that had a Gyrojet gun is a flash game called Thing-Thing Arena 1 (I love that flash game series, wished it lived on like Madness Combat though Even Krinkels acknowledged that he took inspiration from Thing-Thing for Madness Combat Project Nexus
@@mr.m6522 no you god damn dummy ! In 1:26 it shows the rocket pistol which IS a Gyrojet gun (And if you meant in Thing Thing Arena 1 there is a gyrojet gun while in Arena 2 there is a Automag 44)
Hold up, about the shotgun, I thought when you put a shell to the chamber, you WILL NOT pull the handle after that because the shell is basically loaded? I saw Ethan put a shell to the chamber and then pull the handle, then it will eject the loaded shell inside chamber tho
The m1897 reload (as well as the W870 TAC) makes no damn sense. He puts a shell into the action, closes the pump, loads in four shells, and then racks the slide!?!?!?!?!? You just put a shell into the action so there is no need to rack the slide. That just frustrated me to no end.
