This is perhaps the most tragic theme in the entire Resident Evil saga. The characters in the Outbreak series weren't action heroes like Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine - they were ordinary people trying to survive a horrific catastrophe.
Did you even play the games? Jill valentine was a member of stars but nothing special many of those got killed in the mansion Spencer, almost got killed, twice to be exactly , the same with Leon, he was a Rookie in RE2 actually Kevin had more experience than Leon at that time. Even in RE4 Leon with all the training he had, he got saved his ass multiple times.
@@alfonsfar97 their point was that characters in the outbreak are ordinary people who were trynna survive and arent the franchise's main heroes that has crazy thick plot armor like leon, jill, claire n chris has. these people in outbreak have none
@@_kirene those “main heroes” were ordinary people too. Such none sense. They become legends through the years but before that they were just random characters.
@@alfonsfar97 leon was trained in police academy(lore before RE2), chris was a soldier, jill was in STARS team(even before RE1). they were trained to fight and use firearms, they have prior experience of survival and battle in general. outbreak characters are normal civilians
I agree. More than any other RE media, this piece really captured the tragedy of Raccoon City's fall. The "bad" ending of Outbreak File 2 with Cindy and George is outright my favourite RE moment ever. Just beautifully done, and this score makes it.
@@Daniel-Rain-YT This game is part of the classics and my childhood, i hate what have they done with the new direction of Resident Evil, making them too much actiony stuff and no scary horror, more, blows my mind lol.
@@White927 They also removed "almost" all the puzzles on the last games, the RE Village puzzles are for little kids XD, it has no horror, the doll house part is laughable, the AI is awful, you can go around a small table in the castle and Lady Dimitrescu won't be able to catch you, Chris literally builds a mecha that Ethan will use to fight the Magneto rip off on one of the most stupid boss fights in videogames history, the story makes no sense, the gameplay is meh, censored gore, cringe voice acting, the enemies wait for their turn to attack when they are many XD, no physics, one of the worst Resident Evil games ever, my opinion of course :P
This score throws you into a whirlwind of feelings like, despair, angst, fear, panic all at the same time. It was truly one of a kind at the time, and even bests anything produced now.
Este tema es de los mas tristes por tratarse de un juego en el que no hay supervivientes y mas pega cuando ves los finales de los protagonistas resignados a su destino mientras suena este tema de fondo.
Love the song with a horror and sad feeling to it because it shows how everyone suffers with dying for anyone just like one of hunk’s team died for him when he was eaten by rats
My favourite RE moment in any game, and one of the most beautifully haunting video game moments ever, IMO; up there with some of the greats like some of Silent Hill's endings...
Best score for all resident evil / biohazard games too bad the game itself was way ahead of its time before online gameplay was more robust, responsive and intuitive. They really should remake outbreak remastered for ps5 with deeper gameplay and character objectives
