Finally, after eight years this mod is finished.
The mansion and the laboratory are 1:1 copies from the game Resident Evil remake for GameCube, the garden and some other area i have re-interpreted in my own way, both for mapping needs, and for express my creativity.
This mod consists of 8 maps, i used the source engine 2009, so you must have half life 2 episode two installed, nothing else is required.
Installation is simple, decompress the RAR then put the folder "resident_ep2_2014" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods" then restart STEAM, go to your games list, and start the game Resident Evil Mansion.
The mod offers only the exploration of the maps, there are no quests or npc to kill, i'm good at mapping, not to write a story.
To my delight i also added the train from Resident Evil 2, the Galaxie 5000, (nostalgics, weep as well)
Compared to my previous version, i have recompiled all the maps, improved lighting and shadows (lightmap grid is now better optimized), added new maps, film grain, etc.
i need to thanks the guys from black mesa source, because without their models i could never do the lab (i hope they do not get angry). i also took inspiration from their blast pit map to make the tunnel...

Finalmente, dopo 8 anni, la mod è completata.
La villa e il laboratorio sono copie 1:1 tratte dal gioco Resident Evil remake, per gamecube, il giardino e le altre zone le ho reinterpretate a modo mio, sia per esigenze di mapping che per esprimere la mia creatività.
La mod consiste in 8 mappe, ho usato il source engine 2009, quindi avrete bisogno obbligatoriamente di half life 2 episode two installato, non è richiesto nient'altro.
l'installazione è semplice, decomprimete il RAR, quindi mettete la cartella "resident_ep2_2014" in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods", riavviate steam, andate nella vostra lista giochi, e avviate il gioco Resident Evil Mansion.
La mod offre solo l'esplorazione delle mappe, non ci sono missioni o npc da uccidere, sono bravo a mappare non a scrivere una trama.
Per mio diletto, ho aggiunto anche il treno di Resident Evil 2, il Galaxie 5000, (nostalgici, è il vostro momento)
Rispetto alla versione precedente, ho ricompilato tutte le mappe, migliorato l'illuminazione e le ombre, (la lightmap grid l'ho ottimizzata meglio), aggiunto nuove mappe, film grain, etc.
Devo ringraziare i ragazzi di Black Mesa Source, perché senza i loro modelli non avrei mai potuto fare il laboratorio, (spero che non si incazzino). ho anche preso ispirazione dal loro blast pit per fare il tunnel...
