Resident Evil Village is Important (Spoiler-free) 

You predicted EA paying attention to Capcom's work, now we've got a great remake of Dead Space and RE4, all in one year, even if they're technically not "original" I love living in a time where we have such Hugh quality AAA horror games along all the hundreds of indie horror games, my favorite in the last few years has been Signalis for sure.

Well said, I agree we need more AAA horror games. Village reminds us that a AAA horror game can be incredibly well done and well received. I love that they've continued going back to their RE roots but also not afraid to branch out and try something new for the series (i.e. House of Beneviento). I'm very encouraged for the future of RE after RE7 and RE Village.

Great video, just like last time. Although I think the limitations with indie games can be a good thing. Limitations can breed creative ideas like with the PS1 and PS era. It's the story with Jaws and how the limitations of theanimatronic shark not working lead them shooting the movie differently and working in the end.

Great vid, dude. Love the Twitter page, and this channel now as well. The dudes who made Dead Space are working on a new thing. Unsure if it's full horror, or, like you said, action with some horror vibes, but I have high hopes.

on the note of working with people outside of Japan, from what I know about Konami is that their game crunches are terrible and have been accused of abusive measures to their staff-Capcom is literally the only AAA developer with a hat in the ring for horror games, and they took their time with their remakes of 2 and 3 and had Village in concept while those games were released....there is room for competition, it's that none of the other developers want to put forth the effort of effective horror games.

I liked parts of Resident Evil Village , didn't love it but im glad it exists. I like 7 and absolutely love Re Remake 2^^ I want more AAA horror games .

Not surprising that it's all about profits for the gaming industry... online multiplayer games are what bring in the money, whereas most often single player survival horror games do not, and unfortunately, these type of games will always be a niche genre.

I don't know what AAA exactly means, but there's Frictional Games with their Amnesia series and SOMA, if it gets a sequel. I wish Metroid would turn into survival-horror 😅 Oh, btw I'm not a native english speaker either but I think Dee-mee-tres-coo is how is pronounced
