Awesome video! Was looking for something short and concise that included the major steps for beginners and this was perfect! Thanks for sharing your expertise with us.
Thank you, I was already familiar with FDM printing but I had only a vague clue how resin printers worked, this was a great introduction on the subject.
Yeah, don't bother with the free model. It does not work anymore. The link just takes your email address and never sends you the model. Been waiting for days now, safe to say it's broken.
You should not put the printer next to a window if the temperature outside differs alot from indoor temperature. And usually most gases is produced while curing.
Love the video and I basically got the exact setup based on your recommendations. Things are going really well, but I was curious which glue you use for resin. Often I have difficulty using my usual gorilla super glue.
@Darkwing5380 you can recycle it at an extraction rate of 90% by leaving the sealed container of alchohol in a transparent bin out in the sun, after 3 days the resin will cure and settle to the bottom, from there you extract the clean alchohol and leave behind the cured residue at the bottom for cleaning out separately. If you have to dump it, ask your local dump where that is possible, some dumps have disposal for volatile chemicals.
Question: I have a new Elegoo Saturn 12K printer and for small jobs, or jobs placed in the center of the plate, all is good. I've even run two exposure test prints that came out great. What I would like to do is place multiple parts on the plate at once, to save time on large multi-part projects. BUT, these seem to fail most of the time. Is it best practice to do one part at a time, in the center or is there a good way to do multiple parts at once? Thanks.
when cleaning, do we use only isopropyl alcohol, or can we add something to the mix because i dont have much isopropyl alcohol and i dont want to waste the whole bottle on the first print
Was trying to find it myself. From a bit of digging around it looks like Akfix 705. Closest I could find that matched the couple of shots it's in the video. Good reviews but haven't tried it out yet.
My resin parts just won't line up seamlessly always a big separation I've used the cones of calibration dialled in perfectly yet NONE of my pieces meet together 😢 yes I'm brand new to resin printers only owned fdms, where am i going wrong is they test prints somewhere that help line ups?
hey great video! I want to buy a 3d printer to print that kind of figures and even bigger size (but with the same quality), I am between Anycubic M3 Premium / Anycubic M5s / Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra. I like the print volume of Elegoo, which one do you think will be the better fit for prints like the one you showed it the video? Thank you
0:24: He's a "MACHINACAL" engineer?! 🤣😂🤣 Dude, I'm liking your video buuuuuttt... is this how you speak to people IRL? My suggestion for your future vids is just speak naturally. That would be great. Thanks!
