Your turtle came out awesome. I hope your hands are ok. I haven't poured in 3 months because I started burning itching and became rashy in the spots I accidently touched resin without protection on . As in I accidently ran my arm through the resin. So be careful. I'm finally getting ready to pour again and praying it won't be my last. P.S. I can't wait to see you pour that jellyfish ~Patti
Michelle he looks beautiful, a very handsome turtle 🐢 There are 2 things that will irritate your skin. The resin and the high potency alcohol spray. Both things will cause the redness, itchiness, blistering etc. Please wear gloves all the time and when your hands sweat inside the gloves, remove those and put new ones on. Cotton gloves underneath the gloves will help too. Cortisone creams etc will help ease the itchiness and clear the dermatitis quicker than leaving your body to heal itself. I speak from experience 😢 so just sharing what I’ve learnt. And then some people are allergic to the gloves as well.
Everyone, please wear rubber gloves when using resin products. ❤ Resin will aggravate your skin. That’s a fact. All the best wear gloves.Your turtle looks good. Take care of your skin.
Maybe some calamine lotion would ease the itching. I know it's gross, but it might help. Also, try using "nitrile" gloves instead of latex. Have fun at the crafts fair!
Love how the turtle turned out, the stones are gorgeous in the flippers! Sorry that your hands broke out again, have you tried a barrier cream that helps with healing? I have A&D that I ordered from Amazon and it really helps when I am using uv resin(I am allergic to it). That lion is cute too!! Have a great weekend! -Beverly
@@Easeldoesitstudio I just spent 3 weeks healing my hand from a reaction to UV resin and Temu gloves, the gloves went in the trash and haven't touched the UV resin since. The irritation was horrible, finally ended up with chemical burns all over my left hand. Lesson learned, don't buy cheap and use what you know works for you. My issue is probably why I telling you while watyto "Put your gloves on!" lol
Please so you can do resin art for many years to come wear a respiratory mask and gloves. I hear a cough with many resin youtubers resin is toxic until cured your messing with chemicals. People watching you will think you can do resin art without protection WRONG. Your playing with your life your lungs are copping it big time. Please protect yourself and by doing that you show everyone safety first. I like the turtle 🐢
