This edition of Resolume Classrooms is all about that getting that right blend. I'll explain all the blend modes, how, when and why to use them so you can me an even more awesome VJ than you already were!
Here is an idea. Custom shortcuts to specific blend modes. A favorites blendmode folder. Set default blendmode. And mapping midi for scrolling through blendmodes ( wirh image update ) 127 steps divided by amount of blend modes. So thats around 3,4 midi values per blend mode when using absolute midi. Optionally and ideally. Using a relative encoder. Like the scroll knob on Push ( sends inc/dec relative midi ) to scroll through blend modes relative to current selected blendmode. 👍🏻
It is already possible to create shortcuts for blend modes. There is a mode in the shortcuts called "select next item" and "select previous item" you shuold be able to map a rotary encoder to that and get the result you desire. Let me know if this works for you.
@@ResolumeVJSoftware increment decrement mapping only works if Resolume recognizes a 14 bit relative encoder instead absolute midi 1-127. Does resolume support relative midi? Would be great to set this as a mapping preference for a individual mapping. And a related question. Does resolume send out midi current slider value to the leds of a mapped encoder when using absolute midi?
Great video, however the video resolution is too low to easily read all the menu items. It would be great if the video resolution would match the presenters screen resolution.
