Resolve Apple TV Networking Problems

Thank you, thank you, thank you. The antenna next to my TV must have caused interference with the Apple TV. Was so frustrated we were going to take it back to the store. Problem solved.

THANK YOU! I rarely used mine moved and it wouldn't work. Kept saying incorrect WiFi password.. Took it off of my metal Verizon Fios Reciever Box and it started magically working. The dumbest shit I've ever seen. I have the 4k 4th gen if anyone is asking.

Anyone knows my problem if its fixable when I watch any show or movie on streaming it plays perfect but the voice mutes every 2 seconds help ?

FOR ALUMINUM REMOTE CONTROL: Press and hold Menu and Down (buttons 3 and 4 below) on your aluminum Apple Remote for six seconds and then release when you see the LED light on the Apple TV flash rapidly. After receiving a new router from AT&T, my ATV will connect to the network, but shows that it isn't activated. I don't think this is a router issue as the other ATV in the house is working just fine. It isn't "close" to the router, however, the signal strength is full. Any ideas??

Hello Rayukk, I buy movies at the itunes store and save them to an external disc drive on my computer. I then turn on the apple tv when i want to watch the movie by connecting to my computer via home sharing. From there I stream the movies to any tv in my house. This has all worked great but recently I haven't been able to connect to my computer via home sharing. I have disabled and enabled the service 20 times. I have internet b/c Netflix and internet on my tv's work. This all stopped recently and it has stopped on the 4 apple tv's in my home. Any idea why I can no longer connect to my computer via my apple tv?

Everything works fine except youtube videos won't load. I can see all youtube content but when choosing a video, the wheel continues to spin but the video doesn't load. Any ideas?

Also if you get alot of disconnections whilest playing films or streaming music still then go to the manuel configuration of the apple tv box and set the ip to somthing like 192.168.1.100 instead of whatever it is Ie mine was 192,168,1,6 and it kept disconnecting so changed it to 192.168.1.100 and no more drops ... my nas had the same problem.... seems like the ip/s conflick sometimes and need seperating ...... i realy hope this helps some people as it was a headache for me to figure out.......

Hello I need help with my Apple TV, when I'm initiating my Apple TV it stays in "setting date and time" and also says that it's connected to my WiFi network but stays in setting date and time and then nothing happen, I don't know what can I do to fix this
