Without Miami-Dade County's Resources Recovery Facility in Doral, there wouldn't be much left of Doral. That's because the purpose of this facility is to reduce waste, not dispose of it. This isn't a landfill. It's a waste to energy plant that is helping power over 40,000 homes and providing a habitat for wildlife; all while keeping the sky above it smoke-free.
