Ace is not the second in command on whitebeard’s crew, he is the second division commander, there is another person who is the first division’s commander. Whitebeard is like a comodore, he is the great captain, they have multiple ships

It is a valid position they have. The guy you are talking about has only been mentioned once when shanks met whitebeard. His name and position has only been mentioned once. Its easy to miss that

The song bink’s brew is believed to be from the void century, so it’s probably 800+ years old. Binks is thought to be the one who put all the treasure that’s now known to be the one piece on the last island, and all the poneglyphs are probably his journals.

I think you guys forgot that Shanks warned WB about the scar BB gave Shanks. He was trying to get WB to call off Ace’s pursuit of BB since he knew Ace wasn’t ready to take BB on.

@@user-fj4sk4uj7c um, no, i didn't forget that... implicit in offering a reminder/refresher is an acknowledgment they're not expected to remember everything 🤣. not like I called them idiots for not remembering... and also, some people have better memories than others and some people have selective memories when it comes to information. some reactors remember certain details while others remember other important pieces... just because they've watched it once, doesn't mean they can't remember important shit. it's just in this instance that they didn't. all i'm doing is simply reminding them. no big deal. otherwise, their analysis is pretty on point most of the time. no need to get so defensive on their behalf.

It's not really "Ace wasn't ready to take on BB" it's more like "BB is tricky and no one is ready for him." The emphasis is less on Ace but more on BB.

Nice little trinket Luffy picked up there.... Also, I think you guys are forgetting that we actually heard about Blackbeard _before_ we were introduced to Ace. Recall Luffy and co. were told that BB's crew attacked Drum (Chopper's home) not long before their arrival. So even from early on, Teach was established as a threat. Heck, hunting down Teach was the whole reason Ace stuck around the Grand Line's first half in the first place. And when you add Shanks' recent chat with Whitebeard, you can see we've had some serious warning signs about the "pie guy" for quite some time....

The first time i watched this episode, brook's crying feels normal to me, but after caught up to the current episode/chapter, watching back this episode and see brook crying makes my heart ache because it's unlikely for him to be sad and show vulnerability. Love brook so much

Brooke's backstory always gets me, especially what happens with the Rumbar pirates at the end. Who would have thought Oda was planting such a deep seed when he introduced Laboon? The man has a talent for a slow-burn world building experience. Oda really has done well. (Currently past Wano myself, well worth the watch and hardly feels like as big of a show as it is).
