It's sad what Clash of Clans has become. This is what happens when great companies abandon the folks and the playerbase who helped them get there and submit to the almighty yet corrupt money.

It's really scary how supercell is crushing anyone who opposed them without even trying to hide their unethical method .

Was strange to see myself on an Asmongold stream. I'm an old school World of Warcraft guy so I've watched him for a long time. I think you covered his questions very well, the only thing I'd add is that if those 16 most recent videos were "correctly" struck down, then nearly every single content creator on Clash of Clans should also be struck down. Sadly it is targeted, and I think any RU-vidr from any game knows this is abuse. I hope you are able to achieve your goal of making sure this happens to nobody else, and thank you on behalf of all Content Creators too scared to say anything, for standing up against this.

The thing bout this conflict is tat ...Eric's voice is not only for the copyright takedown of Time2Clash but for other small or big youtubers who can be a victim of copyright abuse in the future .....Kudos to Eric for standing up

Back when the coc forums were up, many people started repeating "burn the boat" to signify their dislike for the builder base and prefering it to be removed from the game. Supercell employees expressed much frustration with this and finally one of them (not darian) made the announcement that from then on, saying "burn the boat" was now against the rules, and anyone saying it would be banned from the game. I think it was about a day later after everyone was furious at supercells attempt to silence everyone, that Darian walked it back slightly, saying they werent going to ban people, but you still cant say it any more. Something to that effect. Another time, when sc messed up the click response box size over the troop slots people were misclicking often. The people complained a lot and explained exactly what the problem was. Instead of admitting fault and fixing it, supercell just blamed EVERYONE for being clumsy and made all the buttons rediculously GIANT. They left it like that FOR YEARS. Supercell has a long history of having sensitive egos and lashing out at people for telling the truth. Supercell has a long history of abusing their power.

How ironic that supercell copyrights everything, but they copy the game called Backyard Monsters to make Clash of Clans

If I've learned something about following the Smash competitive scene, is that being a community run event does not mean that a company cannot claim a video, as they do own said game. The main difference in this case is that nintendo mainly focuses on "mods" as their ammo against tournaments/channels. But copyright laws give a lot of power

I wish there were more supports from other content creators/streamers. I feel like (within 1/2 days), people will already start forgetting and keep moving the esports. I hate people staying silent since they are not affected at all.

The silence from other creators or no concrete statement after all these proves, shows how much they(Big Creators) fear even after being that big, That sums why small creators can't survive

You know what to do. Call for the boycotting of any company using predatory practices to silence dissent. Anyone watching this needs to stop buying and stop playing these games until they remedy these practices. You are a content creator. You are fully capable of finding other big games. Lots of creators diversify, and honestly, if this is what it looks like you have already lost your pedestal with this game anyhow. If they are going to burn ya you should go scorched Earth on them. As a gamer, I'm shocked that a game company has this much power over the gameplay we share on social media. The entire gaming culture is based on sharing your achievements on social media. If we can't share our gameplay then we would be considered losers that play games. I grew up in the 90s and it was sad, that whenever I made a new record in a game there was no way to share it and enjoy those moments with others.

I left the clash of clans esports space and stopped doing RU-vid a few years ago because how toxic the community and creators were (best decision I ever made). You know this stuff has been going on for a long time and there is way more to the story, nobody in this story is innocent. I am happy you are talking about it, but let’s be honest you knew all this toxic behavior was going on for years and years and the only reason you are now talking about it is because it directly effected you. If you didn’t get fired from casting you wouldn’t of made a video about Adam.

You should ask Navi to be the spokes person, PR, and content creator for them. Give you the rights to their attacks and be the bridge between them and the clash community. Host QAs and make it fun. For example Stars and Gaku make videos of their attacks but they could use someone who can respond to questions. People wanna know how Stars uses his hero’s and flame flinger to take out half the enemy’s base and swags 2 lava hounds and 13 loons.

I think this is clearly an issue with the higher ups as supercell. They’ve begun to prioritize monetizing the game rather than actually creating the best product possible. Rushing out updates without proper testing and development just for a quick cash grab. I don’t see how this issue gets resolved until there’s a shakeup in the leadership of this company. Now with CR and COC both losing a lot of trust with their player base how much longer until BS and their other IPs follow the same route. I really respected SuperCell as a company but this is just really disappointing to see such a big innovator and pillar of mobile gaming become so unrecognizable. This is really a terrible moment for mobile gaming and I think is kind of a prelude of what’s to come in the future. Only way to fix this is with our wallets. Boycott micro transactions in their games and negative reviews. Show Supercell that what they did is not okay and hit them where it hurts

My thoughts are that you create a new channel and promote that channel through this one and keep Navi wars on this channel for sometime until your contract with them. Also there are lot of strategy games in PC world.. you can try them and see which one u like after that u can start with that specific game content and I think PC game is lot better. I know people who don't play will be upset but u will eventually create a new community for that specific game so it's just a little struggling period for everyone of us who really enjoy your content. Ok this video is much better than part 2, i have seen the evidence and you have convinced me. Tbh... This behaviour is naturally quite stupid because content creators are literally just advertising + building brand awareness for their game for free. So why would they strike a channel or a video for simply utilizising their logo with no malicious intents of claiming that to be their own game? Now i have yet to see what supercell replies to these messages so i dont want to take sides just yet. But i do wish that supercell would address these issues right away..

Commentators in any game or sport are such an asset. I remember Harsha Bhogle from the times I watched cricket. In Dota we have the likes of ODPixel . These guys should be celebrated. They give new life to the sport. In the glory days , when there was only radio, they were our eyes and ears. They still serve the same purpose although technology has advanced so much. I find it indefensible for a company that handles an esport of sorts to target the very people who make it popular , the commentators who make sense of what is happening even to those uninitiated and make it worthwhile to watch.

What supercell is doing is setting up bad precedent. By copyright targeting channels with strikes or even getting their channels shutdown, then everyone will see that it could happen to them. Not only with supercell games, but people will start to wonder if other game companies will do the same. They need to swallow their pride and correct everything they did and not let it happen again. If it was out of their control (maybe someone went rogue), then supercell needs to get rid of that person(s) as they are a liability to the company and gaming channels. A channel could create content on a variety of games but then could be in jeopardy if they only have a handful of videos associated with supercell. Some will argue that it's unlikely to happen to other channels but nobody probably ever thought they would copyright target a channel either. Yes, legally since they are outside of the U.S., the Fair Use Act doesn't apply to them, but everyone can see what they did was just plain wrong. If things like this end up in the court system, then it's just going to cost supercell and others money. With Google and RU-vid headquarters based in the U.S., then I would push for supercell's games to be included for fair use or risk being taken off any video streaming platforms based in the U.S.. Hope supercell can own up and just make everything right.

This copyright strike situation looks so similar to Sea of Thieves situation where Rare banned famous streamer Theb for same reasons (someone working at the company just didn't like him) thus deleting his twitch/youtube and even his second youtube (with 2k subs) channels.

The Supersells have been doing this kind of thing for the entire history of their existence. I used to make videos with private servers on my channel. I didn't distribute them or advertise them. I was building interesting bases and sneaking them in different units. I had 2 channels removed, with a combined audience of 400,000 subscribers. The channel I'm writing from miraculously managed to get out of the lockdown when it had 300,000 subscribers. A funny thing to note is that now in the game there are different kinds of challenges, like those created on private servers. Take the same impossible challenge from the Haaland event. It's really sad. I realize in my head that I myself have done a lot of things wrong, directly violating the game policy, I am not white and fluffy. But this kind of injustice I do not understand. I heard that you are going to leave the clash, I hope you will do well. The presence of videos on "their" game, can still affect the future of your channel. I had to hide over 150,000,000 views of private server clips so they wouldn't have a reason to poke me with a strike. the more i think of it, the more i go through all the information that we have from everyone, the more i feel like we dont have information. All of a sudden, supercell, which up to this point has been clearly supportive of all creators, and havent done a thing to anyone, they start striking. However, as far as i know, it is only one channel that has been taken down, as of know, i dont know of anyone else, and yes, it is true other creators like yourself were demoted or removed from the creator program, but still. While of course, the actions on themselves are outrageious, i feel like there mush be a good explanation as to why, i just cant believe that all of a sudden, without cause, they'd start droping takedowns. As for the VM Legacy case, they have released a lot of information that clears things quite a bit, and while i think they could have given an explanation to begin with, i dont think the team is in the wrong and i dont think supercell has anything to do with it directly
