“Go and take responsibility” I got sober. And I have 391 days clean. That’s the responsibility that I’ve taken, and my life has become better because of it.
Ive met this man and shook his hand. I won't ever forget his kindness to me as I attempted to articulate how grateful I am for his powerful and useful message. 💞
@@successchaser929 Just that dam sock draw to go now! I like your handle 'creators of success'. I've reconnected to our creator and that's helped my anxiety like nothing ever has. How are you going?
@@shakeserfistssmith1364 I hope you get to meet him. I started to make connections a few months ago that his 12 Steps was the modern day Bible on standards for living. So now I have Jordan and best of all now Jesus 💖
Agree, he is definitely one of the greats. I believe that he will have and already has made a massive dent into the world of psychology, not to mention society.
I've never seen someone just like Dr. Jordan Peterson. God bless him and his family all of love and best wishes to him and them . He is role model for us . As young men I'll take responsibilities that's what I learn from Dr. Peterson . I'm so grateful and speechless about how God gift us Wisdom , Charismatic , optimistic men just like Dr. Jordan Peterson. He make me a men
@@sergiorocha76 I mean he make me a responsible young men who face the risks without fear and I'm 17 btw . Also Dr. Jordan Peterson is wise men who make you speechless. God bless him ❤
Adamson The Patriarch becsuse of arts with an emphasis in music its easy for me as a chick to put myself in the same male role he speaks about becsuse for a long time I’ve already been adjusting things for myself from a. Female perspective to that Version.
Con Troll What the heck are you blabbing on about? You literally made no sense, and jumped from one subject to another... I think I lost some brain cells reading your comment.
JP is a hero... since finding his lectures and reading his book, I've totally turned my life around. I've faced the things that I was scared of and that I'd avoided or given up on and now my life isn't empty anymore. Thank you JP. And thanks for putting these videos together... great stuff👍 can't have too much of JP's wisdom.
@@PippiBanana thanks Emily, we all have so much to give and life can be so full if we can just get over our own personal demons and think positively about ourselves and the world. God bless you.
The friends I have who disagree with Peterson dislike him for things which aren't even real! Such as "he's the spokesman for the alt-right" or "he says that women are chaos and men are order"
@@e_squared604 Thankfully anyone who truly takes in and listens to this man is closer to the truth of Christ as the redeemer! I'll share a quote 'God has given different gifts for different people. There is no basis for feeling inferior to another who has a different gift. Once it is realised that we shall be judged by the gift we have received, rather than the gift we have not, one is completely delivered from a false sense of inferiority.' Fulton J. Sheen
I am a African-American , lesbian, 30 years old atheist and I have become a huge fan of Jordan. He really is the most valuable, authentic, intelligent speaker I have ever seen. He really unites of all people, ages and color. He is the voice of the human psyche. He is the dad or the grandfather you’ve always needed. I hope I can meet him one day. ❤️
Whenever I am feeling too good, too fortunate or too proud of what I accomplished i watch a JP video. He has a great way of reminding us of how seriously deficient we are.
I’ve listened to a lot of Dr Peterson and this clip left me absolutely buzzing with excitement and optimism. I feel very lucky that a man of his intellect took the time to explain this to a bum like me. 🙏🏼
All things are possible, believe in that idea. We don't know what impossible can become possible. We are capable. There are no limitations but our own beliefs...
This is the Dad we wanted. We come to him when we are faced with things we are embarrassed by and can’t quite tell anyone else because we are men. Nobody Cares. At all. But with him men... it’s different ❤️
“It’s premature to put a cap on what you think you are capable of!” Wow This message is stunning in its implications! Ever high school senior needs to hear this! Then share it with ever 5th grader and every teacher!
❤️I listen to him when I wake up and have coffee and get ready...and when I go to bad, amazing, wish they have kids listen to him in school every day Thank you Jordan from the heart ❤️
Jordan Peterson is a real genius. I've watched The Lion King on the theater today and I think it's a story about responsibility and how it can affect the world. Mufasa's kingdom is the responsible, thus bursting with joy, meaning and harmony, while Scar's kingdom is the nihilistic one, decaying into chaos, degeneration and destruction. It's pretty simple in theory, but in reality it takes a lot of effort to maintain harmony. Like Jordan Peterson already said, entropy is the default mode.
Ya know, it's amazing how almost all of his videos are FILLED with comments of people just expressing their appreciation for him and how much they feel he genuinely cares, as compared to almost any other video on RU-vid. It says a lot about how good this man actually is, I'm not trying to put any extra pressure on JP, but he is honestly one of the best and most influential people alive. Thank you Jordan Peterson for all of the good you've put into the world, you may have no idea of the good that it's actually brought to others, because it's done so much for so many people. And that is a legacy worth having, one of my greatest wishes in life would be just to meet you, shake your hand, and thank you for all you've done.
I think this man articulates what some of us glimpse, however briefly and expands the ideas. So very much needed in this world of chaos. During the worldwide lock down we should listen to Prof Petersen's lectures daily and learn from them. I hope he makes a full recovery
I sent this video to my best friend around 1 hour before he suddenly passed away. Probably one of the last things he listened before he left this life. It holds a special place for me. He didn’t get a chance to move this message into being but I have. I hope I’m doing him justice.
Thank you Mr Peterson ...lectures of yours that deal with overcoming hardships in life have become sources of inspiration for people such as myself who have experienced severe long term life changing illness.
If we as individuals take control of our lives and act rather consciously than compulsively, that i believe can be the best thing one can do in the pursuit of self transformation to start with.
Everything you have posted has meant to much for me to articulate without cheapening it’s meaning. Language is not sufficient enough to express but a simple and humble thank you DR Peterson
Dr Peterson responsibility is the foundation of life. Again God Bless you me and my Brother are embarrassing responsibility and how we look at the world. May God bless and continue to bless you and reward you and your family...
I understand why some demonize you. You hit a little too close to home for them. I am refreshed by your authenticity and your hunger for us to be our best selves. You should be required awareness for us all. However, I would never wish for us to be “required” to do much of anything outside of our own heart. My grandkids eyes are big and innocent and perfect. I want the world you speak of to be the one they grow old in. 💯🙏
We are brothers ...I love your spirit..it redefines mine each time I hear your speeches... brilliant..KEEP GOING,KEEP GOING...never stop..I know exactly how connected and aware you are..all my life...like a power line fell upon the back of your head neck and back of chest
You have no idea how much you have helped motivate me into becoming a better version of myself. I thank you a million times over for imparting wisdom, for me and everyone else.
I’ve never considered how, regardless of our own shortcomings, that the “overarching narrative” of our lives could still lead to good (in the Abraham story). I also hadn’t considered the influence of putting a “cap” on my capabilities versus remaining open to “all things are possible”. I was encouraged by the idea that we each have a “configuration” - one that can be improved upon and isn’t necessarily bad. That was enough to instil in me a stronger sense of hope in myself and in the world of people.
From what I'm seeing it's less about taking responsibility on, and more about taking responsibility for your actions. No need in taking on responsibility if you won't claim it for better or worse. Get on that horse. More to the point if you fall off of it, figure out what went wrong and wear that. Get back on and do it better!
This, this is the crowning jewel of this guys philosophy, beliefs, message, and explosion to the scene. Literally dismiss all distractions and unnecessary debates about his beliefs and principle as those just serve to detract from the true core. RESPONSIBILITY (say it out loud and proud so it shakes and stirs up your soul). NO FOR REAL, THIS IS NO JOKE. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL,AND THE TRUE SOURCE OF ALL OUR ISSUES GOOD AND BAD IN THE WORLD TODAY. We all as humans need to wake up from this endless bondage of complacency and utter repression of the will to cause action, it really is taking us down the wrong path. I like how he uses a story from the bible. Whether or not anyone believes this, one of the most important principle/concept (the most important to me) from the bible is the principle of responsibility (Which can also truly be analyzed and concluded to be what LOVE is). The whole bible literally alludes to this. I am leaving this comment not only for others, but also for me; so that in the event I come back to this video (if it is still up) so as to remind myself never to forget this crowning principle.
Jordan Peterson you are like my virtual father figure. Everything your saying is landing with me and now i understand why I've not been succeeding like i want to and i appreciate the wisdom that you give 👊
we're not gonna stay forever here in earth.... at least this your contribution Jordan Peterson.....people will remember your name the good things you've done....books you've written....video you create are here to stay.... just like the god's.... they live one's and did something good for us to learned....and pass it on THE GOOD THINGS for next generation
my father always called me a failure and burden and coward and never believed in me. this man right there is a father figure to me. thank you Dr. Peterson.
Thanks Dr. JP, its hard at the beginning to realize its my responsibility, to do this, to do that, today, i promise to my self, will not run from this responsibility again.
