So sorry for your Loss Mr. Day !! I'm a new subscriber and a lone quiet modeller I mainly model 1/72 but have Done a few 1/48 Scale airplane models and 1 or 2 1/32 scale airplanes (now I'm working on several of them a WWII American fighter set Except for the two P-38's they're 1/48th a Marge and a BombaDear type). I'm praying for you Mr. Day for comfort and healing for you and your family!! I happened across your videos in my recommended I think C-46 BUILD video 2 but I'm catching up - I just had a birthday and finally got a Big Bad & Beautiful B-36 that I droiled over as a kid (just inventoried parts it was factory sealed but I do that for every model I buy used or new) !! Thank you for your Service Sir!! I served in the Air Force in the 80's born and raised in Ohio My uncle was in the Air force so I spent time in Dayton / Wright Patt and saw both the C-119 and C-133's plus for a time I would stand in the window of base housing and see B-52's take off!! Anyway, glad to have an old school modeller to help encourage me just by seeing your work!! Love the cigar BTW hope you keep shooting videos !!!
Frankie I'm very sorry for your loss! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers buddy. You're right, modeling is a great therapy- it has helped me through some tough losses and dark times. The hobby is always here and so are all of us!

Frankie I watched your heart-rending video and had to compose myself until the next day before I could put some words down for you. I've followed you for years and loved the subjects you chose to build but most of all your goodnaturedness and your warmth. In times like this, I feel there is nothing someone can say to one who lost a loved one. However I must say them nonetheless . I will pray that God gives you the courage to continue being the wonderful person I've come to appreciate by following your videos. Many a day I looked forward to your cheerful greeting at the beginning of every video to get me to forget about my own depression and you always put a smile on my face. For that you have my most heartfelt thanks. Please keep on being the beatiful person you are. Take care.

Franky, so sorry to hear that your wife has passed away. Now certainly with the gloomy and dark days a difficult time will dawn for you. But you have to go on with your life and that's what Ruth will say to you. Like so many others, I know what it is to be alone, but the hobby of modelling and guys like you with their awesome videos, make life a little more pleasant. Condolences Mr. Day. My best friend just went through the same. I am losing my brother who is 5 years younger than me by cancer. Time marches on. My best wishes for your contentment & peace. Think of the good times & enjoy all you like in life. May you keep the drive to hobby. I never married, but, I am an old timer & modeler. I am spared the missed loneliness. Good luck.
