Sysco net profit is in the billions, yet they still under pay. Sysco should be paying between 35 and 40 an hour to start in my opinion, also sysco Drivers should be making more than any other delivery company out there. You really have to run a route to really understand and feel the frustration of these drivers on strike. I hope they get what they deserve.
Goes to show you how important we are as truck drivers. Without us nothing gets done! Everything you see and own came off a truck! Put some respect on our name!
I'm a waiter in a restaurant and we're already feeling the problems that are happening without Cisco banking deliveries. Hope they get themselves together soon. We rely on them.
Seriously dude I saw a US foods sticker in your walk-in that's why you have multipule vendors. But yeah sysco can afford to pay their employees the same as pfg and us foods. It's not like they source the food from different vendors, they all use the same volvos or freightliner. They all use the same trailers same everything so why can't the pay match their competitors.
Good, I hope all those pain in the ass restaurants feel every bit of this, maybe then they’ll appreciate the hard work we do to supply there restaurant.
110k a years isnt alot of money for the kind of work that we we. if that trailler is loaded with 50k pounds we technically have to lift 50 thoudand pounds and work between 10-14 hours so people like you can sit on there ass and be mad because drivers and warehouse workers want a wage. But you have no problem with the owners buying a yacht every year
Being a truck driver is still contributing greatly to society. Without truck drivers a surgeon won't have his necessary equipments to operate and so goes with every occupation on earth.
