There has never been a better soundtrack for a movie as this one. Comedy the whole way through and well worth a watch for those who have never seen it. Hard to believe 36 years ago I watched this when it was released and watch at least once a year as it makes me laugh and smile so much with the antics and soundtrack
Brilliant uplifting movie, with a fantastic music soundtrack from one my favourite bands Big Country. Saw this movie back in 1985, and just bought it on dvd, another classic cult movie in my library.
Loved this film when it came out and still do. Reminds me of times past. I owned a Red Suzuki GP100 in 1986. Sounded the same as the one in the film. Hearing that bike brings back memories of when I used to take my friend around on my motorcycle in the 80's who dressed like Will.
I was lucky enough to meet two of the cast. They came to our school for a drama workshop. Wolfman took our group. He was very modest about starring in such a blockbuster film.
Love this movie. Reminds me of the week I spent in Scotland (I'm from America, but I'm obsessed with Sottish stuff and want to move there when I grow up)
Superb "Scottish" comedy caper movie with a brilliant soundtrack from Big Country (which can be heard on their 1998 release "Restless Natives & Rarities" cd).
Oh aye , Wester Hailes the Venice of Scotland and Drumdryden , twined with Kabul 😂😂. Only pulling your pisser. The countryside shots are up the rest and be thankful and various other locations in Argyll and Bute.
This film is Scotland's number 1 classic film! It's so funny and the plot was to rob the tourists in the highlands! Everybody in Scotland should watch this classic because it shows Edinburgh in mid 1980s and magret thatchers puppet head so she really did love scotland! The man from uncle was in this and these 2 guys became bigger than the loch Ness monster! A must see classic!
there is a very touching scene in the film where ronnie and wills friendship is on the brink . ronnie is tempted to big gangster time because he has got no-one and wants to be someone .. and will reminds him of all the jam butties he used to sneak him when he was hungry ..make or break point ...ronnie ditches the gangster mac ...and clown and wolfman go down in legend on one last jolly
One of my favourite films! I loved Terri Lally's character, Margot, but then I loved Dee Hepburn in Gregory's Girl, Kelly McDonald in Trainspotting, and RU-vid's ASMR Shortbread, so I've clearly got it bad for Scottish girls! Love you all!
