This 2 stroke engine water pump motor is being used in production but it is too old and some parts are rusty. I know that it is an indispensable tool and should be restore immediately.

It isnt proper fix it has a scorn piston which is caused by improper fuel so the case bearings are probly also bad... so its actualy worse, now it will keep loosing compression eventually not start

I'm 13 my dad has a water pump and our basement gets filled with water cause something with the city and it rains and our basement gets filled anyway thank u cause I didn't know how to turn on the machine and I tried your way in the beginning and it helped me turn it on

С движком жестко обошелся. Поршень не показал расположеие колец явно не помнит. В картер трухи навалил и не помыл масло не сменил. 20 мин коту под хвост. Он бы и грязый завелся если б он бензин туда залил!😏

Восстанавливаемый насос и тот который качает воду - разные агрегаты? На котором качает воду отсутствуют: ручка для переноски и шильдик на защите, а также совершенно другая выхлопная труба... Это как???

Это была защита от выхлопных газов, я не упомянул об этом, это выглядело немного иначе, но на самом деле я восстановил водяной насос.

@@restoration-restore-repair Просто в ролике нигде не сказано про замену выхлопной трубы, а наоборот видно, что поставлена старая покрашенная бронзовой краской, да и шильдик (этикетка) на защиту наклеена.

I've got an old 2 stroke that I'm to fix, its getting gas, spark, and compression but it wont fire up. Any ideas? I took it apart and cleaned the inside which was full of rust which I assume is why it didnt start. I'm putting it together this weekend. Do you think she'll fire?

If the boars are rusty you need to clean the rust off with phosphoric acid and a wire brush then lightly abrade the bores with 320g wet and dry in a cross hatch. Then hopefully there won't be enough blow by to reduce the compression to stop it starting.

You obviously have no idea what you are doing. You didn't even clean the scored and completly worn out piston before putting it back together. And you make money from it...

Is it me or did he NOT redo the engine? It appears all he did was cosmetic. Why tear the engine down and not clean the piston, replace the rings, hone the cylinder (if needed), check the valve(s) and reseat them (if needed). The crank, bearings, etc. were not checked and any necessary work on them done. He is lucky the engine runs.

Not so much rescue as cleanup. Video is okay, take down is awfully easy for what appears to be an old pump. It is what it is, cleanup and repainting.

Engine needs the crank rebuilt and new piston and to be severely honed... it runs terrible there is soo much wrong with it

The gas tank strap was a string after restoration it's still held by shoe laces simple metal 2 metal pieces would do better job and look way better black color would way better then gold just saying

the motor tested at the end is not the one he cleaned up have a look different muffler ,front cover , fuel tank , even the screws on top of the head cover are now painted

The running pump was not the one restored. It had a different muffler,a different fuel hose from tank to carb and the bowel on the bottom of the carb was not bright and shiny like the other one. I do not like to be decieved so unless you can justify the differences in a reply to this comment I will not watch one more of your vedios

The pump is running with lots of details I changed without inserting the video, but many people misunderstood not that my pump was restored but in fact it was the pump that I recovered, please sympathize and Support me
