So this man is a painter, a chemist, a physicist, a designer, a key maker, an electrician, a welder, a cinematographer, an editor, a biker AND of course an engineer (may be he's an astronaut as well). And May be by the time I write this comment he has a new professional degree. So this guy covers nearly half of the professions in this world, Respect++ 🙏 🙏

Когда этот чувак колол мотор, у меня сердце кровью оборвалось. И когда подшипники с молотка вгонял в половинки, это просто пипец. Главное чтобы к таким мастерам не попадать вообще. Ну неужели в интернете не посмотреть как делают эти моторы, ведь данные коленвала при сборке удары не терпят совсем. И как пишут комментарии про золотые руки, ребята вставайте тогда к нему в очередь на ремонт. Работы проделано много, но из-за не знания многих вещей, проделано за зря.

My grandmother have Jawa she was driving it till 2005, and on summer vacation we were driving to forest for mushroom hunting, now the motorcycle is hanging on the wall in the same condition, it nice to see things like this.

I had a 1971 CZ 125 and I don't recall the cases being that shiny when it was brand new! As well, with all the comments about the "limited" tools at your disposal, I would bet the tools your do have are not any less sophisticated that those which built this bike in the first place. Nicely done.

Brilliant ! Brought back lot of memories. Jawa 250 cc , single cylinder was very popular in India in the 70's and 80's , and I had a blast speeding around on them !

This is a real Jawa. I remember my father also had one of these - God rest his soul - a Jawa 350 two-cylinder cost 6 months of an engineer's salary in Hungary. With this video, you helped me to remember him and when I was 6-7 years old. You did a beautiful, professional job, the restored motorbikes would have their rightful place in a museum, in the middle of the great hall.

The level of patience you possess is unmatched. Hats off!!

Jawas were a very nice motorcycle. I once owned a 250cc single. It was very well-built and reliable. This one appears to be a 350cc vertical twin. They were built as both 250cc singles and 350cc twins and sold under two names: Jawa and Ogar, sort of like AJS and Matchless. Very good work and a nice video.

What a fabulous bike. Such brilliant condition at the start. All the panels were solid and straight (apart from minor damage to the front mudguard). Mechanicaly like new. My guess is it must have covered very few kms before it was stored. Looking forward to seeing the finished job. I love twin 2 strokes. I recently restored a "barn find" Suzuki T200 Invader from 1969. Riding it is an absolute joy. I'm sure your Jawa will also be a joy to ride.

Amazing work! thank you for documenting this. My dad used to own a 1971/72 Czech Jawa (yes, they used to sell in India) - have so many lovely memories of the bike and its idiosyncrasies (like the famous starting drill using the gear change lever that used to double as the kick-start)

What a great job. The trail is really amazing. BTW I spent my childhood and youth surrounded by motorcycles and my friend still has a Jawa 350cc about the same age as this restored bike. When I was 12-15 years old, we often drove two-wheeled Jawa on winding dirt roads, and I remembered how good the bike was to control on a winding dirt road. With its special features, the device is very durable even though it is a rear wheel. Czechoslovakia has had strong know-how and culture before the Iron Curtain. In Finland, many people drove Jawa to work in the forest etc. in the 50s and 60s. It's great that you restored this wonderful device for posterity to enjoy!

Essentially it's a complete, motorcycle and totally a fixer. What a great find, glad that you were able to restore the old girl.

You sir are an incredibly CLEVER man. My only suggestion would be that you invest in a torque wrench for when you are tensioning the head studs down.

Loved watching, and I know how much work goes into a full restoration. BUT, extra time on the areas that have massive pitting really make all the difference. Weather its a $200 project or a $200,000 project, if its worth doing, its worth doing all the way. Anyways, thanks for this upload.

Es increíble que ningún perno se te rompió, todos se desenroscaron cómo nuevos sin ninguna dificultad. Me extrañó mucho esa particularidad, fue como desarmar una moto nueva ninguna dificultad con el óxido, ni siquiera en las piezas de aluminio. Te califico 10 sobre 10, excelente trabajo.
