In 2022 I had to go on a hiatus because of a move but have been back pretty much regular (except for the last few weeks) since October. RU-vid reccomendations have been pretty sporadic so a lot of people think I have not been posting. But glad you got this video! 🙂❤️

@@FABEDhacks Rosemary, I make a little sterling silver jewelry and I learned how to do it all on RU-vid! I learn how to solder and everything even have a big old jewelry bench with all the tools.$$$ (yikes) Unfortunately My health it's not so great and I can't sit up there like I want to and get things done however, I thought seriously about trying to make a copper bowl! The real one. I know how to dome small pieces of silver and it's a lot softer than copper but I'm sure copper can be softened like any metal and I have lots of copper! It looks like rose gold if kept shiny on jewelry. Sterling prices got soo high I don't sell it now either, just gift making.... I'll let you know which direction I take, or if I try at all😬... maybe I'll start with a free-form copper tray😄 free-form, another name for hot mess!... might better stick with jewelry...Take care!!! Hi Proud mom! Yes, all is well! I've been doing alot of work locally lately. The area I moved to is kind of touristy but in a winery, B&B, and quaint town with boutiquey shops and restaurants kind of way. Apparently there is a pretty significant demand for handcrafted items plus oddles and oddles of fairs, markets and the like. I thought it would be fun to explore that a little especially since I have been having challenges with RU-vid "throttling" my channel (their words) and when they do recommend, they are only paying me a significantly reduced ad revenue!

Thanks! So glad you liked the RH dupes! That would be a great idea depending on what you would be using it for. For example, I love the idea of the foam board say for making a rectangular vase to hold artificial greens. How awesome would that be! ( I may have to make one!😁) However, for the pillars, my concern would be how to make it weight bearing and stable and also the propensity for the foam to dent. But as vase, up and out of the way on the shelf -Love it! 🙂❤️

Yes, another viewer also mentioned the balloon method but using copper. I think it would be problematic to use the balloon with caulk since the bottle is not only supplying form, but also rigidity and support. Caulk alone is too pliable and will continue to shrink without something to hold it in place. To get the proper shape, if that is what is desired, I would go with the DT soda bottle as suggested in the video.
