А, главное - зачем... Сундук как сундук, стоит ли на него тратить сколько усилий? Есть видео реставрации действительно интересных и высокохудожественных вещей... А так можно до реставрации поддонов скатится.

Вот пример реальной реставрации... Вмешательство по минимуму, вещь не превратил в новодел, сохранил её историю...Труд, терпение колоссальнейшие... (А ещё огромный плюс лично для меня, что нет за кадром бесконечного трёпа... Не затянут показ этапов работы, но видно что и как делает МАСТЕР) От всей души - УСПЕХА во всех начинаниях 😊
One of the makeovers I most enjoyed seeing. No cover up of dings and dents. No painting over but letting the old wood shine. Great job! Loved seeing it.

Great video again I loved watching it. I have an old chest that my father had made from teakwood back in 1949. After all these years if I drop the lid it still closes softly as the air escapes. Fantastic craftsmanship.

What a fantastic piece of hard work! It’s beautiful! I love all the little touches, like painting the “tack heads(?)”. I’m not sure of the proper name that holds the straps on. But it all looks great! It was a pleasure to watch. Thank you! ✌️

Beautiful. I have a couple of wood trunks that someone refinished for me and I treasure them. I prefer the flat tops because I use them for table and to hold and store family things like quilts, quilt tops, handmade doilies, etc.
Although I like it without music and much talking in this case I would have appreciated a voice over explanation for all the steps you took. thanks for sharing your work with us.

I really love the way you keep things looking very authentic and old but at the same time restoring the piece. So many restorers want to make the piece look brand new again. I love the aged metal and wood. In my opinion this maintains the value of the piece much more than making it look brand new. Thanks for your great videos. ⛏️🛠️🖌️
