i don't like the random denting decorative in the mdidle of the blade for no reason. also the bluing jsut as a strip across the middle as well; doesn't make the end product look good. should've just kept it simple.

Respect to OP, really a well-filmed video, just wanted to point out what they did. The front of the cleaver is more of a modern take on Viking weapons, only sometimes seen in cleavers like this. Even still, they often made very straight blades, only slightly curved if there was one. They also would have no need for the dip in the back of the blade and is a purely aesthetic thing that would only be in modern cleavers, not efficient and the cleaver wasn't a high enough prized 'weapon' to get a fancy blade... if they even used cleavers that is. They didn't use cleavers and opted for smaller straight blades, long swords, and axes. This is a fake video with (cant guarentee) but probably artificially rusted, especially with the cracking surface that resembles clay, it happens with faux rust a lot. Now im not saying that this isn't an interesting and even a well-filmed video, but please don't lie and/or just try and fact-check before you post things like these. You are very eloquent and efficient at getting your point across with the words in your description, but don't lie, seriously uncool...

No way this could be a Viking knife, if it was you would have NEVER scored the blade or replaced the handle. 😢
