Beautiful restoration on this stone crushing hammer. The handle is amazing. The end piece all together is absolutely Incredible. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed watching this video and look forward to your next one. Be safe😀
If my experience as a stonemason doesn't deceive me, that's a "Schröter". The tool was formerly used to dig trenches in granite rocks and then split them apart with wedges. There are 2 mistakes in the video. For one thing, the attached handle is beautiful, but way too short. You would be able to trigger next to nothing on hard granite. On the other hand, at 05:31 you can see that a piece of the tip has broken off. These tools break where the steel is hardened, so there's no hardened steel left. If you hit granite with this tool even once, it would be ruined again. The steel has to be hardened again at the tip.
Зачем столько возни с самым заурядным инструментом каменщика!? Ты с ним на парад каменотёсов собрался или для тебя это ритуальный инструмент вольных каменщиков? Овчинка выделки не стоит!
Video ruined because you didn't use it at the end. My kids were chanting "use it use it" And then you just end the video What an anticlimax. Cinsidering unsubscribing .
