I had this doll as a little kid! I remember she came with a tape casette that played "Do the Locomotion" and I was obsessed with it. The shoes kinda worked but kinda didn't unless you had a glass coffee table to play on.

Omg I had this barbie EDIT you made her look so good! I used to use that cassette player accessory all the time.

I had this doll when I was a kid, that's the whole reason I clicked on the video! 🤣 I loved the suction cup shoes, the could ACTUALLY workout like in the commercials! But sadly none of the other Barbie shoes (heels) fit her so I would always make "custom shoes" out of Playdough for her LMAO

These videos are always fun! however I would clean barbies just to experiment hair techniques which I would then safely use on my MH dolls.

Your house is so beautiful especially the floors. I know the kids help keep it clean you are such a good mom and your husband is a good dad. He teaches the boys how to build things and do manly things and you teach the girls how to do girl work as I call it. Every one is so happy I watch because it makes me happy. BTW, the Walkman has a pink vinyl crossbody strap and two little plastic cassettes that go into the player. They’re branded Sony 🥰 I don’t have this Barbie, but I wanted her Walkman so bad I bought it on eBay. This Barbie NIB is pretty expensive.

Definitely not the first articulated Barbie, that title would go to dramatic living Barbie from the 60's. The first articulated doll of the 90's goes to 1993 bicycling Barbie because she is the first doll to use this body that can actually pedal the bike she came with

LOL I"m old & still have a cassette player. I think I tried once but failed to fix my first Barbie's frizzed out hair, I need to try again but sometimes it's just too brushed I guess. She's the early 70s ballerina & that's when I got her, i chewed off a foot and her clothes were stolen from a bag out of my family's car when I was little with all my doll clothes in NYC in the 80s boo hoo. I did buy a new one a few years ago at a doll show in great condition with her flowers too.

I had this doll when I was younger, and I foolishly brought it to school one day to show my classmates (I LOVED that doll). Someone stole it out of my bag, and we never found out who did it. I was so upset over that for ages because they weren't selling workin' out barbies in stores anymore by that time. I bought a new one from eBay some years ago which cheered inner child self up! Sadly, when I got her though, her hip joints were really weak since she's just old (degradation). So at some point, I want to figure out how to replace that rubber band bit that holds her legs and hips together so she can sit upright on her own again

I had this barbie! She was so incredibly loved, I found her at a second hand shop when I was 4-5 years old. I actually found her last night and I didn't realise how filthy she was. I threw her off a stool once bc she was battling one of my other babies and her head popped off :')

I do clean and help the Barbie’s I have and I found a great way to bring the hair back to its og color or a different color. Nail polish I do it the Boilwash it the condition it it’s very helpful
