Good job Very cool Like the right hand steering as well My friend built many a CSX2000 carry over cobras back in the 90’s, fiberglass and aluminum

Well let's face it, the AC ace the cobra was based on was British so it's only fitting some are I guess ( plus the fact this ones in Britain anyway 😊)

Nice late version of the AC MK IV Many call this a replica which is incorrect as these are real AC’s . Brian Angliss / Autokraft as initially grantee of the AC trademark then subsequent owner of AC Cars, started making these cars again using original tooling in many cases and new tooling to make his MK IV Cobra, which was the natural successor to the 60´s MK III. The cars had to be tweaked in order to meet U.S. emissions standards and safety regulations. Ford Motor Company got wind of Angliss’ efforts to remake the Cobra and became joint venture partners with AC Cars in October 1987, owning 51% of AC Cars Ltd. and Angliss keeping 49%. Ford assisted with the Federalization of the Mk. IV and supplied the 5.0 liter Ford Mustang GT V8 engines and T5 transmissions, shipping them to England for installation in the MK IV. In 1986 Ford Motor Company the owner of the COBRA name gave permission to AC Cars Ltd. to use the COBRA name on all MK IV ‘s sold out of the USA.These cars were sold as AC MK IV by select Ford dealers in the USA such as Tasca Ford, Muck Motors and Kistler Ford.
