Local tech schools are great for stuff like auto body, cosmetology and even things like free dental cleanings. Made me look up some local services as I could use some body work. Nice job. Glad to see the Taco coming along

When you showed the inside of the topper, you could see a gap at the front end. Like mine you'll probably have water leakage. Love the reflectix & the rug, looks professionally done.

I did this to my camper shell on my 1st gen last year. I was able to have a camper supply company source me a one piece directly from LEER for 100$. It was a real PITA but well worth it.

No shit haha. I’m not sure what model Leer I have or if it’s even a Leer at all though. That’s crazy though. Not much more than what I paid for my fabric

@@ConnorLee mine is a weird brand. I've only ever seen one like it. The previous owner caulked all the seams. I spent days just removing the caulk. Took months to complete the project.

@@ConnorLeewhen I followed your link it took me to Amazon for a 20’ by 4’ carpet but the actual carpet and material looks different than yours for 60 dollars

Do you think insulation is worth it for someone that may only camp in it less than a handful of times a year? Just got a used leer for my f150. Plan to carpet it. Debating on whether or not to insulate first?

Not necessarily. The carpet will help a bit too with insulation. You could just bring out a Mr Buddy Heater for the extra cold trips and live with just the carpet lining!
