Wow. I'm almost speechless, yet there is so much to say. What a handsome piece that would probably look great with just about any decor style - traditional, contemporary, antique, boho... You won me over by using scraps and not wasting materials, like the chair cushion as an applicator sponge. Brilliant! I love your editing style with some parts sped up, nature sounds, and such clear photography. Seriously outstanding. 👌
Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ru-vid.comUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.
I'm currently living in provincial East Germany and surrounded by beautiful, old furniture that simply needs restoring, and you have just inspired me to do something about it! I'm going to dig out my old Nirvana t-shirt and start with a dull, broken pine book shelf that my wife wants bringing up from the cellar, which I've been avoiding. Thanks for the inspiration, and thanks for including the materials used list.
I would thank all that youtube algorithms for bringing your channel on my feed. I might never make any of these by myself, but am addicted to your videos now. Very calming and educative. Keep it up !
Wow! This is already becoming one of my favorite furniture flip channels. Your eye for design and ability to fix basically anything is amazing. And your filming and editing are incredible. You’re going to blow up. 🙌🏻
Do you watch DASHNER DESIGN AND RESTORATION? You would appreciate his knowledge. Your channel is awesome. I used to do this many years ago. You’ve inspired me to start again and this time I’ll video it.
My dad use to work as a steel worker at a car shop. He learned me that nice little trick. Close your eyes and feel if it's smooth. Nice work, as always
I love your channel. High quality work without all the chatter. One suggestion I have is to make the print a little larger on the screen. It’s a bit hard to read when you are old :)
this was a beautiful design, and you highlighted it's graphic purity well with the color variations. now I want to build drawers like these from waxed MDF and gold leafed center bars.
Beautiful job. You couldn't even see the fantastic grain in the "before" pictures. Btw, I like when you make your tapping hammer sound like a woodpecker. 😺
best furniture flipper I've seen. You go the extra mile and that would be what I, as a customer, would be looking for. The other channels get great outcomes but I question the durability and lack of coverage/carelessness on the inside.
I am so glad to see all of the videos you post again! It is such a pleasure to watch your calm, patient, woodworking transform a an old and worn piece of furniture into a work of art. It's sort of like watching a caterpillar become a butterfly.
Beautiful work! I would love to see a video of your workshop. You appear to be very organized and have great systems. I am hoping to re-do our garage and would love some inspiration. 😁
I just cannot fathom for the life of me why anyone would give your videos a "thumbs down"...I think they must just be super envious. Thanks again for this brilliant video. X
Simplicity is key, let the material and the colors do the work… Alright, now the actual manifestation of these true words… how to proceed?! And you just know by heart what to do! The beauty was already there, the dresser just needed your skilled hands to shine again! Absolutely amazing stuff my friend.
I truly enjoy your videos! Sparse commentary, just quiet magic and mastery. You are a very talented woodworker. Amazing how you bring these pieces to life. Thank you!
Truly incredible, how you rescue furniture which might otherwise end up as firewood or going to landfill and give it new life and purpose! And your preparation detail is admirable. No-one would be short changed if they were to acquire a piece you'd worked on. I'm full of admiration for what you create.
I am more and more impressed with every video I watch! You are very talented and have great vision. Thank you for sharing your information and your knowledge. I really am enjoying watching your videos.
Dear Modern Makeovers: If I were you, I'd drop anything else you're doing and focus entirely on your RU-vid channel! Like, stop other jobs and just do this! Your channel will grow super super fast if you post once per week and you'll have hundreds of thousands of subscribers in a year from now and with your affiliate links and eventual video sponsors, you'll be doing a lot better than any other day job :) You really have a talent for furniture restoration / modification AND for your video style and editing are really world class! I'm excited to become a fan so early on in your RU-vid career! Check out these guys on RU-vid: Wild Wonderful Off Grid...they build an off grid house from the ground up. I started watch them at 80k subs and now they're at 870k+! I think you could be a big player just like these guys. Looking forward to seeing more! Make sure to include some useful keywords in your titles and descriptions for faster growth, too ;)
@@ModernMakeovers awesome, excited to see it! Also shorter videos (like 5-10 mins) posted regularly will make more money than longer videos posted infrequently (as long as you mention affiliate products in description). Also less work editing :p although I work full time in digital marketing but not in youtube full time so maybe I’m wrong I’m this haha.
Stunning. It is like a magical transformation. This furniture has been reinvigorated to its full glory and ready to be utilized by those who needed it for such a very long time. His skillfulness and mastery in furniture craft is just awe-inspiring. Keep up the good work.
