Pushing along restoring what will be my second big lounge at my 300 year old French farmhouse. Grinding all the old oak beams with a dust mask, goggles and ear defenders. One very dirty job that’s for sure.

One thing I would recommend is that you buy a small microphone that can be attached to your shirt/jacket. It is very hard to hear what you are saying at times, especially when you move away from the camera. How are you going to remove the floor? Are you going to get a small excatator - something that can fit through the door - to do the digging? I imagine that even with an excavator digging the floor will be a time consuming project. I hope you can get a wheel barrow relay going while digging the floor out. Of course, digging the floor out by hand will be a backbreaking job and will take a while unless you can have A LOT of help. Look forward to seeing how you tackle that job.
