I'm pretty sure he believes in playing within the range you are tight in so you can create more mobility as a progression.

Start keeping the hand behind your butt or leg then climb up when you see results

yeah, if someone can take their hand that far back....not sure how much you can consider limitation of internal rotation a problem....

When I try to put my arm behind my back like that the shoulder blade sticks out alot, so if i lay on the floor with my arm behind like that it really hurts 😵

I have a pacient who has radicular pain and disconfort in the traps... S/He cant get out his bra for internal rotation motion missing! Im going to use this movilization and see what happens...

My left shoulder is rotated outwards more than my right shoulder. What is that condition called? What can I do about it ?

I dont know if it's a condition but it's some form of dysfunction, either it's imbalance.. the internal rotators are too strong on one side for some reason or if you train the internal rotators on both sides equally, it could be weak infraspinatus/teres minor on the forward rounded shoulder, or weak subscapularis on the less rounded shoulder.. try to lay on your stomach, then put the back of your hand on the small of your back and lift off your hand. If you're weak on the less rounded side it's probably because you have a weak subscap there.. for external rotation you can also get a band, hold it in front of you and try to pull it apart while keeping your elbows in place (in front of you), and if one side tires much more quickly there's a problem there.. try to remember back also, did you get injured doing something? Where did it hurt/what position was your shoulder when it happened etc. If you strained a muscle in your rotator cuff it can easily become dysfunctional as a result, either loose/weak, tight/weak, etc. Muscles are really weird

@@Shady-79 If you've torn a rotator cuff you should do very gentle strengthening until it's healed or there is no pain
