Yes! I have had a desk job my entire adult life and I am seeing and feeling the effects of that. As soon as you showed how we tuck our butts under when we sit I knew that was what I'd done; why I am routinely so stiff in my lumbar area. I will be giving this a try. Thank you!!!
Thanks for the help bro. I've been lifting weights over the past 10 years, even training for power lifting but over the past couple years I've had to back way off the weights due to pain in my lower back. I finally went to a specialist and found out i have Flat Back Syndrome. Anyways I started researching the best way to help this condition and so far these 2 stretches seem the most beneficial. I'm back to weight lifting almost pain free! Thanks again!
@@hritikarohra1842 well I'm not 100% cured but I do these stretches every day and I also started taking magnesium malate to reduce inflammation in my lower back and in much better these days..
Thank you so much for this video! I've been looking for a long time for such exercises, hypolordosis is more rare than hyperlordosis, so your video is amazing! Thank you a lot☺️☺️☺️
Great video but I would like to be clear... Do you say these exercises will benefit "loss of lordosis" and straightening of the lumbar spine? That is what my e-rays say is apparent with my spine.
I am searching for a way to stretch my back to fix the curve in my lumbar spine. Unfortunately this is not one that will help. However I do appreciate the warning in the beginning of video.
Just want to say thanks for the ebooks and the video its gonna help alot especially with understanding what's happening with my back I've had lower back pain for over a decade so trying to retain it now I got the go ahead off gp that the previous damage has healed
@@omarsamy122 to be honest it didn't restore my curve but it helped to retain the curve and prevented from getting worse. Now am undergoing an Ayurveda treatment to restore it
In my case the spine kinda locked outward once when I sat down fast on a hard surface with weights in my hands. It felt like all of the bones of my lower half of the spine sat on each other. I feel like it will never be good until it cracks back into original position. Is it possible to fix this with just exercises and correcting posture or does it need some other approach?
Thank you for the helpful video! I noticed that when I consciously suck in my lower stomach, my lower lumbar aches and pains subside. Is there an exercise to strengthen that muscle/muscle group to keep my stomach pulled in/back? Thank you!
What if that's the only position my back feels relaxed. When I try to sit properly, my back feels so much tension and I get tired quickly. Only when I stay arched, i feel relaxed
Are there any exercises you would recommend for restoring the natural curve of the thoracic spine when it's too flat? I've seen a lot of videos addressing how to correct the thoracic spine when the person has a hunched posture but there's barely any information on restoring the natural curve of the thoracic spine when it's the opposite and the upper back looks really flat (plus there's pronounced scapular winging on top of that). What would cause a flat thoracic spine in the first place? Can this condition be corrected and, if yes, how?
chariots8x there are a lot of people who don’t consider a flat t spine pathological. You are probably born with it. I also have a pretty flat t spine, strengthening the psoas (not stretching) and lower back with reverse hyperextentions has helped me a lot
@@playermartin286 I would say it is a problem because I get a lot of muscular headaches and it kinda forces the head to be a little bit in a forward position. Plus it looks terrible and I feel uncomfortable wearing anything that shows my upper back. I will try to strengthen the muscles that you mentioned. I'm actually working on muscle training right now. I'm just a little nervous to try exercises that affect the upper back because there's barely any information on this condition out there and I'm afraid of causing damage without meaning to.
***** all muscles around thoracic spine seem to go on fire when i hold thoracic extension. It burns like hell. but its seem to be muscles. When i wake up in the morning muscles around lower back and thoracic spine seem to have locked up till i move and loosen them up little
I've arthritis in my lumbar and flat back, rounded shoulders, pointed scapula. So this is going to be even harder to correct. I'm just hoping one day I'll wake up and see this is all a bad dream.😥
I m too weak ...I cannot stand much straight ...it feels like I m not breathing...Wt should i do ? I m very disappointed with the bend in my back bone ...plzzz anyone help me ...plzzzz
Please can lumbar back stretcher help to stretch the stiff muscles and restore the natural curvature again,I bought the device and have used it for 7 months, but redid the xray test and the hypolordosis was still there, do you have an idea if it helps or cure it,and how long I will need to use it to achieve great result?
Can these exercises help restoring _both_ lordosises? I am 37 years old and have had both straight for a long time now...along with kyphosis and mild scoliosis. I do lots of computer work at desk or lying in a bed on my back, leaning against a few propped up pillows (this might not do good, as I have frequent pain in my neck when doing it). Can they still help? Thank you!
I feel so much pain in my lower back when i do the first excersise but my MRI test says that everything is normal in my lower back , i know i pysiotherapist who is a friend of me he told me the MRI isnt normal and i lost my lower back curve but why do i feel so much pain when i do the first excersise do u have any idea ?
Can this be fixed if the cause are bad discs, stenosis, and bone spurs? Surgeon wants to implant two "spacers," then maybe fuse 5 thoracic to fix some scoliosis due to disc problems. Any help is appreciated.
I have had this pain for about 8 years now. This pain has ruined my life, I can't sit or sleep on anything but a hard surface. I also have now developed an excessive pain in my groin region because of this. I am an athlete, a track runner. This pain has gotten to the point where I cannot walk a mere 10 metres without feeling an n excessive pain. If there is anything else I can do to fix this please let me know. I am determined to get this out of my body as soon as I possibly can.
Hey bro, I just went for check up, and the examination of the doc said I have the Lose of lumber lordosis, and I feel pain to move and sit. Please tell me some important exercise so that I can feel better and get rid of this normal lordosis things
I injured my back lifting about 3 months ago, it was really bad but healing now. I did notice in beginning it felt like my back was too straight and my curve disappeared!! Should I try these exercises now or will it reinjure my back?? Hope you answer after 2years lol
Fantastic video. I have just been clueing in on how much I tilt my hips under when sitting... after experiencing a couple weeks of extreme spamming on one side of my lower spine. Last night I started doing "superwoman" pose... wondering if it was the right thing to do or not. .. now I know I was on the right track... Thanks for the great content!
@@ctynwbraygalm Temporo Mandibular joint syndrome, I got it too, plus a totally wrecked spine 😔 So many people on here with same symptoms, I pray to Almighty Creator God that He heals us ALL instantly! Amen! 😎👑✝️🙏
I have pretty much the same as you. Have you tried schroth method to work on the scoliosis? It apparently works! I would recoommend doing these exercises as well and addressing any flattening of your thoracic spine as well.
@@tuze8 cuz you need to use a back brace exercises probably won't work I mean these exercises don't even work really to get rid of Lumbar lordosis for me
Greetings Blake, can you do a video on what position to keep your lower back while sleeping. I can recall you did a similar video but it more focused on the cervical spine, cheers.
