Interesting video Jake.....and the "bad" batch of shorts came out on top.....just goes to show that a barrel is its own thing and theres always a pellet to suit....Look forward to the updates with the different TP's and widening the range of barrels.
Got a weihrauch HW100 barrel on my steyr lg100, it was a 60cm barrel that I had shortened to 51cm and machined for the steyr. Won't go into why but had great results and now know of a few more people going down the HW100 barrel route for there steyr's.
on my raw bm500 in .177 i got both poly and standard rifleing.... its a 20fp model.......bot hbarrles are amazing with the pellets they like... the poly barrel is sickly acurate at 50 yards with jsb 13 grain.... and poi dosnt shift at all.... it will littearlly hit a 177 pellet every time and has no flyers. the standard barrel on the other hand with jsb 10.3 is amazing as well...... but the poly barrel with jsb 13 grain is sick..... much better than the groups u have shown here with yr impact with any of the barrels u have attached to it........ im glad i got 2 barrels from martin.. martin said there wouldnt be much of a difference but im glad i got the 2 barrels... very much so
Hi I fitted a hw unchoked barrel .22 to a pp700 pistol making it a rifle I also fitted a Huma reg after a bit trial and error its a lovely little carbine I found it likes hades pellets groups really well,11ftlb getting 50 plus shots out of that small cylinder,I like your videos really informative.

I wish we could get to the bottom of these friggin fliers. Seems deliberately damaged skirts in tests do not show necessarily produce fliers. So what is it?

good review matey, the new raw hm1000x 177 cal have poly barrel's fitted to there sub 12 rifle's that are being imported , i think they are un choked .
Was this FX polygon barrel a so called "Smooth Twist" barrel, with the rifling just at the muzzle end ? I just wondered because of the increased bullet speed.
Would be great if you made a firing jig for testing all these barrels in a vice arrangement with a single load mechanism so that all those human variables could be minimised .....................but I suppose you have a day job to look after LOL ......nice work!
I don’t suppose you know how many o rings there are supposed to be between the barrel liner and sleeve please? It’s a sub 12 500mm barrel M3. I can only find two when I replaced them with the carbon liner? Thanks Jeff.
Jake, quick one. Have you have tried a CZ barrel on a crown or impact ? Looking to possibly having a S200 barrel (I believe this is a CZ barrel ?) machined to fit onto a FX Crown what are your thoughts?
Very interesting video , I am about to convert my Raw Hm1000 x to fac when the variation comes back , they are fitted with polygonal barrels from std on the fac models do you think that is the best option or to get an alternative machined to suit , have you do anything with the Uragan yet
Not done anything with the Uragan yet, it is one on the watch list though so maybe in the future, I would go with a RAW poly barrel, they perform really well and should shoot fantastic, poly barrels are brilliant in FAC so worry there, you could get a Lothar Walther blank and have it machined but I wouldn't bother. hi airgunners , can i ask you something about the impact pleas ? do you know how much shots can do the impact with 7,5 joule or 16 joule in cal 177 4,5mm with just one 480cc filling ? thanks
