The nice thing about selling wholesale is that I’ve found it easier to make a lot of items rather than just a few. Ordering supplies is easier, planning the day is easier, packing is easier, etc.

The safest bet is to use a wholesale website, at least if you’re starting IMO. You could then find people in person or online and drive them to your wholesale page to place orders. Just make sure you can handle 50% pricing

Great video Erica! You are very generous with your private label accounts. The fact that you make the labels for them is a huge bonus to them!! I charge 50% of my retail, plus 15-20% on top for private label accounts and they are responsible for their labels. Now white label, that’s different. I charge the 50% + 10%, and I make the labels as they have my company logo as well as the buyers logo. Keep the great content coming!!

Hi it’s been so long since I’ve watched any RU-vid about candles I started back at work so I can better support my business and decided I want to do wholesale and private labeling. If you did do a futur video can you do one about writing up a contract and pricing for both wholesale and private labeling and maybe making labels or what if someone wants a specific logo how you get their logo onto your computer and how to use it and where? Thank you so much I love your channel it’s just been a lot of changes for me and I’m finally getting back into the swing of things by choosing to grow my business by dipping my hand in different pots lol

When selling wholesale, should the business sell the product the same amount you sell to customer or can they charge more?

Question- do you use a generic warning label ( meaning not including your information)on your candles when doing private label since it has the other businesses name - logo - scent etc. that they choose

Great question!! I actually keep “Manufactured by Memory Box Candle Co + my city, state and zip code” because legally I have to still put who the manufacturer is on the product. I always let my private label customers know this :)

Hi! So If you are getting started from the very beginning (meaning you still need to test materials) I recommend saving up money and just getting started little by little with testing materials for now. hi with no disrespect to @MemoryBoxcCandleCo I love the content is my first time watching and very informative I spent $130 on materials and have many local clients buying my candles so yes it’s possible with $200
