Whats up guys! I'm back with another video..This one being a bit different than others. Showcasing reticulated pythons in the city of Bangkok and one from my own collection. Also included is footage of a wild python eating a cat.. I repeat, wild. I didn't feed it a cat, it found itself one.
Hope you guys enjoy!

As a cat lover, I’ll admit, that was a tough one. However, it’s nature and I understand that. Your comment though: “I couldn’t save the cat, it was pretty damn dead.” Priceless.

Stumbled on your channel. So refreshing to see snakes in the environment they evolved in. I commend you for focusing on South East Asian reptiles found in your neck of the woods. It is fabulous that you can stroll around your city and see these phenomenal reptiles and is such a change from some 'herpers bedroom' in the US of A. I also want to commend you for your display bio-habitats ... they are the way forward. It MUST provide naturalistic enriching sensory stimuli for your reptiles that a plastic box with substrate and a bowl can't. Well worth the effort for your animals quality of life. It makes a really nice change from the plethora of exotic reptile keepers who ADD to the problem of the wild caught illegal pet trade ... I'm sure some reptile keepers/breeders are ethically minded but there is still a thriving trade in exotic venomous reptiles being bred and sold indiscriminately. I hope your You Tube viewership grows as your content is a huge point of difference (and much better imho) from the US based herpers and breeders. It is really interesting and rather wonderful to view what is considered "exotic" to American herpers just essentially living on your back door and I hope others appreciate the fantastic content you film. Well done. Your reptile room is incredible too.

bro first off cool ass snakes as always. But secondly your video editing skills are awesome I have noticed you did a voice over when your were touring a jungle at night but in the voice over you included jungle night noises so it was almost unnoticeable that it was a voice over but the quality of the sound was on point cause you did a voice over. I also just saw you dive into a bush and immerse into where the pythons were coming out at night

Chris normaly knows so much about his animals but i guess hes more into venomous snakes because even if his retic was 30 ft it wouldnt squeez enough to break bone.however large retics are known to grab prey an pull in up into the canopy big prey too like panthers cheetah an even small people.
@Chrisweeet
@Chrisweeet 3 года назад

@acecaldwell4701 3 года назад
Iv owned burms an retics since i was 8 im 34 as of the 13 this month an iv had mutiple snakes over 18 ft an iv never seen them break a bone.infact the larger they get the slower an more lethargic they tend to get even when live feeding.now ill admit iv never fed a wild snake into 18 ft on the weekly before but i cant imagine it being that diffent.
@matyaskassay4346
@matyaskassay4346 3 года назад
@@acecaldwell4701 well I guess it depends on what you call bone break. I'm sure they ain't gonna snap femurs, but a few broken ribs sound totally believable. Of course they don't really need to break bones, since their tactic is suffocating, not crushing.
@acecaldwell4701
@acecaldwell4701 3 года назад
Constrictors dont really kill by constricing and please beleive me when i say thay also do not break bones atleast not typicaly an u would be a fool to thing a twenty ft python wouldn't crush a small dog or somthn but the truth that every expert knows is constrictors kill by asphyxiation.they monitor the heart beat an the rythm of your breathtaking an get tighter on every exhale infact most prey is rendered unconscious an die in there sleep so to say.but if owned burms an currently have a plat retic that a bit over twelve ft. I have had big pythons all my life

I see the sad side on the news from the US. It is sad that they have to have a bounty on them in Florida, due to a large escapement years back. As far as feral or free roaming cats go, eat away. In most countries cats are invasive alien species and when they are released into the wild or allowed to wander freely, they are responsible for the deaths of many native species of birds and small mammals, maybe we need a few more out there. Again as I have mentioned Chris, for one so young you have a great wisdom. Snakes should be respected and sure a little feared but leave them alone, they will not, cannot, outrun you. We are not natural food but don't push your luck. Just live and let live.

Cats and Dogs help humans lot to come this far. Dogs protected families in the jungle and went hunting with humans in the old days. Cats came to help humans when humans start doing agriculture. That's why Egyptians worshiped cats because they thought gods send them to protect the harvest from animals who destroying it. Old days didn't have technologies like now. so both animals help our old generations to survive in difficult situations. But we should control the cat and dog population.so you should respect cats and dogs more because they help human evolution.
