MGT was so successful that trainees use this for auditions, tv programs use this as challenge, idols cover this during concerts & for fun, the gp knows this, regardless of age. What Gfriend did to me is give me high asf expectations for group dances. Everytime I watch a dance practice or performance of other groups, I always pay attention to details and synchronization. I easily feel unsatisfied if the dance isn't fluid & synchronized skwkhss. I've become critical over dances, thanks to Godfriend. The vocals too, btw! Gfriend already served since debut, showcasing powerful dances with powerful vocals. Kpop groups are usually either a vocal or dance group, but Gfriend falls under both since rookie days, and that's a hugeeee flex. They've come so far, I'm proud of them. Gonna miss them sm.

Funny that you talked about power in GFRIEND choreography because GFRIEND concept and genre at their debuts was called "Power innocence" like the fusion of cute and pure concept with rock guitar and strings and hardcore synchronized choreography. As i commented in previous videos i'm a old k-pop fan since 2003, but since i became a fan of GFRIEND since the Me Gusta tu era they became my favorite number one k-pop group. Since the disbandment of GFRIEND, i miss them everyday and still not over that GFRIEND is no more. I'm glad that you continue to explore the world of GFRIEND because they are so talented young ladies and deserve all the love in the world. GFRIEND is maybe gone, but what they left us has make them LEGENDS and their legacy will be there forever. Also, i know that even with their future individual activities they will change k-pop for the best and forever.

this was way back when their company was dirt poor and they were about to disband because their debut did not sell that well, but after a fancam of them performing this (and falling on the floor several times)on a slippery wet stage became viral, this song became one of the largest hits and longest-charting songs in korea and gfriend became a household name in kpop, both music and dance it is a shame they disbanded, but their impact on the industry is undeniable, thank you for this reaction for bringing us back to those good old times i recommend you check out time for the moon night or sunrise next, both legendary songs that no other groups but gfriend could pull off
Everytime i see a reactor do a video about Gfriend older stuffs, i feel so happy and a little upset at the same time. Gfriend when they first appeared to the industry, they're like a fresh breeze compare to all the girl group with girl crush concept but also because of that difference they didn't have much support. Whenever i see a first reaction to Gfriend video i ALWAYS hear the sentence "cutesy concept is not my thing" like i know but you're missing out on EVERYTHING ELSE about them just because of the visual alone. And when there're finally many people get to know about them it's already too late. When I first got into Gfriend, a little late maybe two years, this was one of the first dances I willingly learned and it is I think considered their hardest, they just make their dances look so fun that you can't resist but try it for yourself.

Love your "school of fish" analogy. It is so apropos. Something that the Goddesses of Dance would do automatically. But in reality we know about all the hours of practice they put into their performances physically and vocally. Too bad you can't do a review of Gfriend's tribute to g.o.d. at Immortal Songs 2 because of copyright reasons. But check it out anyways, another great iconic Gfriend performance.
