@@fourTWENTY_Whata_Khunt not everyone can have that kind of endurance, he worked hard but was a talent he was born with. He maximized it. Other players get gassed quickly
@@aziziadnan76 There's some new state of the art treatments nowadays where you can regenerate soft tissue / ligaments etc. You could theoretically play into your 60s if your cardiovascular system keeps up and you have money to burn on these treatments.
Man Clarence Seerdof is classs. I honestly beilive with his masterful technique and strength he could be still playing professional as a Pirlo type as long as he has legs to help him cover distance because his comfort on the ball and technique is legendary
Park playing better than Sancho Evra still making those overlaps into the box to get fouled. Scholes still looking for his strikers and wingers with those long balls. Edwin still saving Vidic still scoring bullet headers Rooney still strong in the box Berba still calm when surrounded by 5 players Carrick still scoring ranges Giggs still defining the odds
imagine sitting at home as scholes, just chilling out and doing training with the reserves as a form of keeping decently fit, and your manager asking you to come back to the main team out of retirement, saying yes, and winning the PL in the process. that's just how good scholes was
Scholes actually came back on his own, he says that it didn't feel right and that while he was in the reserves he felt like he still had something in him he needed to burn out
This united team was a world class, they can still play a nice and attracting game. That vidic goal , long passes, speed , pass accuracy, calmness and power. Long live our great united players
What years was this actually played (Michael Carrick's coronation) ? I should know but one thing I don't get here in the states is the availability to stream such matches ( charities/ farewells, etc) I watch so much football (yes I'm obsessed) I don't even know a good you tube channel to keep me updated on such matches?? Thanks regardless if you know any of my questions. I love this page and talking football! John M
J.S Park, reminiding us why we all love him so much...stamina is forever for this man. Clarence Seedorf...bro is enjoying himself like Jay Jay Okocha, doesn't take the match too seriously, playing with class and style...it's crazy how Rooney is so Salty every damn time, bro it's not a cup match...these other guya threw away so many chances, the match could have ended 5-2. That cross from Scholes tho... when they say "class is permanent" 🔥
Honestly, made me happy to see Rooney as hot headed and competitive as ever!! Brings me back to the good old days, I remember getting up bright an early with my old man to watch the '08 UCL final, Man Utd v Chelsea. Me the united fan, dad a chelsea fan. Super competitive game, went to penalties, and to this day I will not let my old man live down John Terry slipping on his ass and missing the penalty that gave us the chance to win. Good times
It’s missing very key ingredients in Carlos Tevez, and Ronaldo. As a Chelsea fan, Man United 08 squad in their prime could compete with any team in the world. Legendary!
old is gold. I think Ten Hag will enjoy a glimpese of what the fabulous team of Sir Alex used to be. Some of those players still in good physical shape. Wonderful.💪💪
I've been saying this for years, this team lost its heart and soul. They had such fantastic continuity in the Ferguson era which they havent been able to find in the last 5 or 6 years. Having those stalwarts in the backline and guys like Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes, glue of the team in the midfield. I hope that we can see a squad like this at Old Trafford again one day
Scholes is literally the best midfielder to ever step on a pitch, when he is 80 years old he will still be able to make passes like that It's just innate
The team made me fell in love with Manunited... They are still even good and understanding each other in their old age...this team we win present Nigeria football team..and many other clubs presently
If today's players are worth $100 million, then looking at the game of these legends, it's easy to imagine how much they would be worth by today's standards.
This was absolutely gorgeous to watch. Ryan Giggs will forever be a legend. Oh how can I forget Vidic or Patric Evra, Van der sir and great Rooney and sir Paul Scholes ❤️🦾
When Rooney lost his pace he was still an amazing link up player for United in his final years and the closest replacement they had for the passing ability of Scholes.
Rasanya seperti kembali ke tahun 2005 keatas dimana MU masih bermain dengan sangat kompak, solid, dan sangat ditakuti lawannya saat itu, I love this club 😊
From this match, you can see how these classic players used to be classy and the best players in their respective squads. his stamina is as good as when they celebrated their first victory. really really miss their era 👹 i'm fans from 🇮🇩
Sedoff , what a player .Evra got serious pace. These guys could beat any Epl team now! They all active . Van de Sar,what a goalie!😊. Am enjoying this game. Far better than current epl. As a Chelsea fun, two players I feared in Man Chester squad was Ryan n Paul Scholes. These give too many trouble for Chelsea. Why are these guys not still playing? They still strong n play better than these modern lazy money players
This is my team from 2008 its amazing the only thing i miss is cristiano ronaldo nani anderson the portugese guys en some more but Its great to see alex ferguson happy
@@oforkansiugo-yb9bn lol you obviously never watched scholes play you Mong even pep said when he was at barca the only player for England that would get in a Spain squad or Barca squad is scholes he ran the show most games for Man U his stats are crazy
@@nasescobar6004 you don’t hear him spoke about like you do players like xavi and iniesta pirlo zidane but he’s up there with the best imo and I’m not even a man united fan he was just that good but hardly got the recognition he deserved
@@aldihamdaprajakusuma4197 Nah Bro... Scholes Was Far Better At Everything. And Legends Like Xavi, Pirlo etc all agree that Scholes was probably better than them. 1. He was king of game tempo 2. Aggressive in Attack 3. Aggressive in Defence 4. Great Short passes 5. Excellent Long Passes 6. Defence break Through Balls 7. Best Workrate 9. Excellent Shot accuracy and power on and outside the box. 10. He will bench Modric and Kross in Real Madrid
This was Carrick testimonial match. Rooney are still playing not yet retired. i was at the match, so grateful to be there seeing all these legends. Scholes class as always.
they were great people when I became a MU fan, the ronaldo rooney teves in front is history, everything changed when coach ferguson retired, the players one by one left, the cool and cruel game also began to change, it's a shame and now they are back even though they are not intact, former United fan
Watching this for the first time almost bought me to tears.. so many legends such good great memories of the past.. seeing all these beautiful players of the past what great times it were back than for the great football man ohhh mann
Ronaldo still doesn't want to stud you fool. This game is for the legends who have retired from football. Ronaldo has the job of taking over other clubs.
This is the real football! trying your best in a lovely and respectful manner to your opponent. No heartfeelings just good sportsmen. The 19:57 moment said it all.
@@somebawldy3789 I didn't expect nothing. I just wish if people of nowadays play as they did. It would prevent big players from leaving the sport because of getting injured in intense matches. Yes, we should play to win but not on the expense of hurting the opponent. This is how sport should be, I remember in one marathon an African runner thought he had won but he still 10 metres away from the finish line. He start slowing down wanting to stop m, then the second runner behind him also slow down as well and he told him that he still didn't reach the finish line. Then the African finishes first the other guy came second. When he was asked why didn't you take the chance and finish first. He said: I want to win with my capabilities fair and square not like this. This is the spirit of a sportsman.
