Almost bought so many of the midi scale star destroyer on may 4th promo Thank god I waited

Interesting thoughts on Ghost ship. Here in Australia its never available and very sought after. Won't surprise me that this becomes a big winner when it finally retires. There just isn't any other good mid size ships around at the moment and the show its from is popular.

Some of the sets truly surprise me to get an extended shelf life. Good to know by now, before I invest on them. Thx!

People need to learn the difference between malice and indifference. Lego doesnt "change" these lists. They decide a set has enough profit potential to do additional manufactorung runs. They are utterly indifferent to how it effects resellers. If lego changes a retirement plan it means they are confident current and potential new stock will sell. If you bought 10 of a set they assume they would have sold those sets to someone else. It can also mean the coming sets don't fit well into exsisting niches and so they need things like playsets and ships to hold those popular categories.
